Can you trust me?

"Leave. Right now."

A warm tear escaped her eye. She was pointing towards the door with one hand and hiding her neck with the other. She didn't care if he was watching him cry but all wanted was to get away from him as soon as possible.

"No." He said back as firmly as her.

"Excuse me? What?" Her teary doe eyes were replaced with squinted angry ones now that she looked up at him.

"I am not going anywhere. Not until you listen to me." He sat on the couch, crossing his legs.

"Either you would leave yourself or I would throw you out forcefully Xavier." She chewed every word, patiently waiting for him to get up and leave.

"I love how my name sounds from those soft lips of yours." He ignored her actual demand completely, his eyes hovering over her lips once again.

"What are you even trying to do?" She looked at him as if he had lost his mind. "Don't test my patience."
