Zengo Nevada.

I open my eyes, to once again a different ceiling.

"Deja Vu?"

The fierce unrelenting battle replayed through my head.

"Fuck you, you fucking old basterd." I've never cursed so hard in my life.

I thought I was dead for sure.

There was little chance I could have ever beaten a Goliath tier monster, the fact that i'm still alive is a miracle in itself.

The room around me is almost completely empty except for the mattress I'm laying on.

"What the hell."

I get up and open the door.

"What's up, newbie." The voice is smooth and thick, like crunchy peanut butter.

The man leaning against the wall looks at me with caring eyes through his thick antique sunglasses.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"Oh newbie, you can think of me as your master, wait, wait, that doesn't sound quite right. You can think of me as your teacher."

"What?"

"I'm the head teacher of the martial arts department of the school. I'm sure you've heard of me, I'm Zengo Nevada."

"Zengo Nevada?"

He nods.

"Never heard of you."

"What? Mabie you misheard me, I'm Zengo Nevada."

"Nope."

"Zengo Nevada."

"Still no."

"Zengo Nevada? Zengo Nevada!"

"I'm sorry."

He clears his throat.

"You my friend are one strange guy, you know the old geisel had to fight that basilisk to retrieve you."

"I don't see anything strange with that."

The man laughs.

"No, the monster protected you."

"Oh, okay. wait what do you mean?"

He wags his finger in my face.

"No, now's not the time. Newbie school starts in just a week and a half, and you im sure need a tour of this place. "

Outside the north wall of the city.

"Brother it's about time, I bet you can't wait."

"Yes brother, this school sounds fun."

"But brothers, this is dangerous. What if he tries to kill you, Dom."

"That will never happen, Frank."

"True, brother Dom survived that incident, no way anybody would have a chance against him."

"Just remember Dom, nobody can know about us, you'll be ostracized if they find out."

Dom chuckles.

"I know."

Inside a nearby fortress.

A man dressed in a dark black suit reminds his daughter.

"Yes father."

"Cassandra, remember don't embarrass us."

Somewhere in a hospital within the city.

"Mom, I'm gonna do it, I'll become a hero just like you wanted."

His mother didn't respond, in fact she couldn't even if she wanted to, for she is in a deep coma.

"Believe in me mother, I Alexander Higs promise this."

Within a hotel outside the school.

"Master, I will do this. Speaking of, I wonder where Master is now?"

The boy sat in his chair, and replayed the days of training with his master.
