The Battle Begins ??

"She... Died....??"

Yama puts his hands in the air, consolidating him. There is a look of worry on his face as he utters, "She died just like you did, but she is fine now. So calm down now. I was just messing with you." his worried look turns into a big smile.

"What. What do you mean by was dead? I was dead as well? What is happening? Please explain everything now before I lose my sanity." Devansh asked.

"Fine. So, you see we are.."

"I think I should be the one to explain this, Yama. I don't think this kid can handle any more of your pranks." Shani said as he interrupts Yama before turning to face Devansh.

"Gods and Fate chose both of us to fight for the survival and peace of mankind. They gave us an Ansh(Portion) of the power of different Dev (Deities) to fight against Asura Raj(Demon King), Kali. But that alone is not enough. We alone are not strong enough. So we need the help of you youngsters. Will you help us, kiddo?" he asked him in a deep, passionate voice. Devansh could not help but feel moved by the polite and passionate request as he nods to accept before comprehending what he had gotten himself into.

"Rest up. We will leave tomorrow for Gurukul," said Yama with a wide smile as they both leave the room.

"Yama, Shani, Kali, Gods, Demon, War. I still don't know what I got myself into. But it doesn't matter. I may not be a good person as you thought, but I will be a good Son. Mom" Devansh leans back and starts staring at the ceiling.

Meanwhile,

"So what do you think, Shani? I like him. He reminds me of you when we were teenagers. He still has a tough road ahead, but he could be the Wild Card that just might help us win this time." Shani replies, "You are right. The kid is odd. He might just be the one. But I don't want him to end up like I am right now. We need to guide him and all our Shishya(Students) to the best future. For the ones to come and for the ones we left behind."

"I thought there will be a flying Chariot or a huge Buffalo as our ride. But this is just too normal?" Devansh exclaimed as look at a Big Black SUV car.

"Do you want to ride on a bull? I can make it happen. Ha! Ha!" Yama bursts out into loud laughter. "We try to keep our existence hidden from the public. So, as convenient as it may be, we don't use our Shakti until we have to." Shani explains as they all board the car.

Half an hour into the journey, they reach a bumpy road surrounded by jungle on both sides. "Ow! Ow! Ow! I think I may not survive until the end of this journey. We may need to turn back to the hospital." Devansh moans as he grabs his cast hand.

Everything seemed fine until there was a loud bang as the car stops. Before Devansh could gather himself up, they heaved him out of the car. He looks around to find them surrounded by weird-looking creatures. A black and red-colored liquid that is dripping down their body. The eyes, along with teeth, are blood red. Some of them look like wild beasts while others seem human-like.

"Stay back kiddo and don't worry. We will take care of them. You ready, Yama." said Shani before chanting the mantra 'Om Shanaischaraye Namah' as a dark black light surrounds him before he appears in a Dark Blue dhoti and Kurta with beautiful black patterns. His face and body turn Black with a red tilak shaped like a 'V' on his forehead. He lifts his hands to summon a scepter. The scepter is golden with a big, bright, dark blue gem. The scepter has a brownish-black ring floating around the top of the scepter.

"Let's do this." Yama replies before he whispers the Yama Gayatri Mantra "Om Surya Putraay Vidmahe Mahakalay Dheemahi Tanno Yamah Prachodayat ". A bright golden color engulfs him as he changes back into a red dhoti with red armor and a horned helmet. His skin color changes to dark Blue with a white and red tilak on his forehead. A black-colored club appears in his hands with a buffalo head and two pointed horns.

Yama and Shani stand side by side, ready to fight. "Let's do this. It's been years since we fought together. The last time we fought together was... Never mind, here we go."

Fun Fact-

Yama and Shani are stepbrothers and sons of Lord Surya(Sun god). While Shani judges the people who are alive for retribution, Yama judges the dead people's souls and sends them to hell or heaven based on their actions.
