all plea fell on deaf ear until all demon in Mr.Stanley was released and the lady was half conscious. Leaving the poor child terrified.

then he picked his bag and left like he'd always done

I saw blood everywhere, I'd wondered how my mum still cope living in the same house as this monster.

I turned to her and said:

mum I'm sorry I couldn't help you out, I promise you that dad would pay for his sins one day.

Even try though weak mum still said baby go to sleep now remember that you have classes tomorrow how can you make me proud if you miss class huh

I could see the tears she was holding I guess probably waiting for me to sleep and then she let it go

so I went to her and said. mum it okay to cry I wouldn't dare see you as weak okay let it all out

that's when mum hugged me and cried her heart out, we both wept and after that I said to her

mum I'll not ask you if you're hungry cause you'd probably say no, so I'm hungry you're hurting I only know how to make noodles or chicken soup so I guess we'd be taking noodles for dinner wait while I prepare them in the meantime dress your wounds, no baby you're just 11 ,

well I'm turning 12 soon so stay still and wait for the meal okay?

yes ma'am, she said and we laughed it felt so nice to see her smiling

15minutes later

mum it ready come and eat

after dinner that night we hugged ourselves to sleep
