"she's Dead!" a woman screamed making the crowd go wild
"what happened?" another asked but still nobody knows the answer
"I'm a detective" I said and almost everyone was quite happy to see one, not one but two. Because Williams steeped in
I wore a glove and dismissed the crowd so that air and light can circulate. The host of the party was informed immediately about what has happened, and he was embarrassed, guilty and deeply ashamed for someone to die in his fortress, in his house.
The woman was beautiful and her blonde hair fell smoothly but her lifeless body had no peace. I looked around the room and more hints concerning the incident was clearly visible....
Firstly the dressing mirror was broken in a strange way
Secondly the place smelled like perfume, harsh perfumes
Thirdly the rosary on the floor gave me various thought, but the rosary was close to the broken mirror meaning lots of things
"LEE!" the way Williams called me almost made me faint in shock
"Williams what?"
"come over quickly" his voice sounded serious. I moved over to him gently. He was examining the body of the dead woman and his eyes showed something strange...
"look, do you know what's this?" he pointed at the two thin red punctures on the woman's neck, "she was bitten here"
I bent down and saw the punctured mark and a small dry blood on her hair, "looks like something with fangs pierced into her neck....."
"something? or maybe someone!" Williams looked at me and I knew where this is going to
"are you trying to say a vampire?" truly, I spoke his mind
"what else?, a snake can't do it and even if it was a snake, it wouldn't suck her blood dry! There has been various incidents concerning vampires in the city and I deeply suggests we should see that through, but now this is a deep case" Williams was right in some ways and also not, but my investigations led to something more than that
The body of the woman was carried away for proper checking. Williams and me however stayed behind, because the host insisted on it.
Valnor and his butler didn't leave neither and still wanted to investigate with us.
"detectives so I must say, I needed you two to stay just to investigate further, there's no way a guest can die in my house, and also there's something I needed you two to look into deeper!" the host said with a serious face
"we haven't even known your name!" Williams was always the first to speak up
"You can call me Vernon!"
"okay Mr Vernon, we'll try our best to get into the bottom of this" I assured him but didn't make a promise, if it was really a vampire who killed that woman, then for this case would be very difficult and tricky
"thank you detectives, also you Lord valnor and Arnold" Vernon smiled and passed me with a narrowed eyes, muttering to himself
But I didn't pick some words from what he was saying, but they sounded like.....
"the demon's lord child"
Something is fishy, I can feel it. Only from investigating missing people, I've come into another case.....
