It was only a few minutes when Gabriel felt that he needed to take a leak. He blamed the cold breeze for this, as it was the catalyst for him to drink a lot of coffee a while ago.

"Now, where's the comfort room again? This rain makes me really feel cold. I need to take a leak," he murmured as he walked and searched for the comfort room. He glanced at the wall clock and it was already twelve minutes past nine. He noticed that the window of the room was broken and was wondering what happened. He went near the room to take a greater sight. He noticed a shadow wavering back and wondered who it was. The room's lamp lit the whole interior which made it easy for him to recognize the sight that shocked him. Aldern's lifeless hanging body waved back left and right, where its shadows danced with the light as it moved. In his immediate shock, his loud scream was heard by the whole mansion's residents and quickly went to the veranda to know what exactly happened. Rook and Tatsumi straightly abandoned playing the trump cards and quickly followed the maid. Sari and Jenny followed, as they were also curious what it was. The maids able to reach the veranda and found Gabriel, who was soaked from the rain and was holding a hammer.

"Sir Gabriel, what happened!?" they asked, wondering why he was holding a hammer.

"Aldern is hanged in his room! I'll break the window; I may be able to save him! Call the others!" he shouted. The maids went back to the mansion and alarmed the others about what happened. The others followed quickly and saw what happened. Everyone was in shock, as if a paralyzing effect struck their feet, as no one was moving and seemed to be stunned with what they saw. The sisters hugged each other and avoided the sight; a way of comforting themselves and trying to forget the image that was printed in their eyes.

Tatsumi never wasted his time and tried to help Gabriel, as they tried to save Aldern. Both of them entered through the broken glass and took Aldern down, freeing the noose that was tied from the beam of the room.

Gabriel tried to feel Aldern's pulse from his hand. When he never felt anything, he had his hope that perhaps he can feel it from his neck, but it was too late. The body already stiffened quite enough. He was already dead when he found him. he looked at Tatsumi and shook his head.

"It's too late. He's gone," he said. His eyes turned pale as he looked away from the body with his deepest sadness. Tatsumi was not able to feel his hand when he heard what Gabriel said. It was his very first time to see someone die in such a way and that they were helpless to recover it, as if the life slipped away as they were trying to enjoy night.
