Chapter 3: The Search

"I'm done cooking!" said Liana.

Ralph come to Liana whispering to her ears, "That child knew something."

"What do you mean?" she silently replied.

"He knows about you."

Metria was shocked upon hearing the news. They two went to the living room to serve the dinner when Leo suddenly confronted them.

"I know that you were not my big sister."

"What do you mean Leo?'' asked Metria

"You know, my sister sucks at cooking…while you are too good at it." Leo says with hesitation, "And she never told me stories again after mom pass away."

Metria tapped gently the head of the child, comforting him. After a while a tear started flowing from the innocent face of him.

"Do you know where my sister is? And who really are you?" Leo cried. "My sister was the only dear left to me. Please tell me if she's alright!" the child cried even louder.

Metria felt a heavy feeling that he never had before. He gently pulled the child and hugged him, comforting and telling the child that everything will be alright.

At the time Metria realized that he was alone. He possesses knowledge far beyond everything, he decided to create realms so that the vast space shall be filled.

He then created the animals. But the creatures were far different from his shape. He figured out something that might work, an experiment that requires his appearance, he created the first 'Man'.

She faced Ralph with a heavy expression, seems like she figured out something.

"Ralph! We really need to find the soul of this body!" said Metria, "Seems like I'm not cut out in this body anyway…"

Ralph agreed to Metria showing his full support.

*After dinner

"Hurry guys! Ralph, I mean Ra… open the gate to the Realm of the Dead! We will find her at any cost!" said Metria.

Ra lifted his guise and transcended into his god form. A glowing chiseled body with a golden hair, a youthful face that mirrors the glory of the sun.

His luminous golden lance was summoned before him. He slashed the thick fabric of reality tearing the dimensions and connecting the realms.

"My lord! The gate was opened."

"Wait! I'm coming too!" Leo rushed in.

"It was dangerous there child! Mortals are not allowed to enter the Realm or the Dead!" Ra refused.

"But I want to find my sister! Please! Please I beg you!" Leo insisted.

"Ok! But make sure that you will behave okay?"said Metria.

*Sighs

"Aye!" Leo's energetic reply.

Ra didn't argue. He summoned his divine chariot and immediately headed to the Realm of the Dead.

Leo was scared because of the gloomy surroundings. There were two moons on the red sky, each crescents represents the cycle of life and death. Across the gate was a river of blood were corpses flooded, a place not meant to be seen by a mere child.

"Close your eyes Leo and hide on back of Ra."

The Veiled One arrived to welcome the God of Sun.

"Ruler of Gods, how may I serve you?" asked by the Veiled One.

"I am here to meet Hayatus!" Ra's proud reply.

"Very well my lord. But be careful, you brought something that isn't welcomed in this land." replied by the Veiled One.

As their chariot passes the river, Metria noticed that the Veiled One followed them by sight.

They are heading towards the Chamber of Souls, Valhalla.
