THE ATTACK I

ACE POV:

There it stood in the midst of the ruins!

*ROAR*

It stared down devastatingly at us.

It was a huge creature!

It rushed at us to attack.

"Guys, I think we better run" Jane said.

*ROAR*

It jumped at us. Just in time, we leaped out of the way. It crashed into the elevator.

"Well, there's no going back now" I said.

It got up and sniffed around. It seemed to find something, or rather someone.

It looked at me.

*ROAR*

It rushed for me, pounding the ground as it ran.

"Ace, get out and there" yelled Willis.

It leaped for me, but missed.

"What is this creature?" I asked.

"It's an ogre, feeds on muggles" Jane educated.

"Then why is it coming after me?" I asked.

*ROAR*

It smacked me from behind. I flew across the room and crashed into the wall. It rushed for me again. I quickly got up and dived away.

It rammed itself into the wall. It kicked me with it's foot. I found myself landing near the door.

"What's going on here?" Mom entered the room.

"Oh, my gosh, the room's a mess. What happened here?" she asked.

*GROWL*

"Mom, what are you doing here?".

"I heard loud noises coming from the Willis'. So I came".

"I'm in the middle of a little something here".

*ROAR*

"Mrs. Queen, get out of there" yelled Shola.

It leaped to crash on me.

Mom was just between us!

I pushed her aside and it landed on me.

The impact created a big crater on the floor. It held it's hands together and smashed it's closed fists into me, ramming into my chest at every strike.

Everything felt blurry. I heard my name being called repeatedly but it was faint. I couldn't move any part of my body.

I passed out.

JANE POV:

"Ace, Ace".

The creature got up and sniffed the air.

It stared at Ace's Mom.

"Why is it looking at me like that?".

"It eats humans" came the reply.

*ROAR*

"Take her to safety". It was Willis.

He stood right in front of us.

The ogre ran for us.

"Silisius Millineria". It ran really close to him.

He rammed his fist into the ogre's stomach. It sent the ogre flying across the room.

"Go check up on Ace. I'll handle this".

I ran towards Ace. He wasn't moving. His breathing was very weak.

"Ace, Ace. Get up" I looked to Dad.

He was distracted by me for a moment.

"Keep trying, honey".

The ogre rammed it's fists hard into his stomach. He flew across the room and crashed into the wall. He fell down on the floor.

"Dad".

The ogre leapt and smashed Dad with it's clenched fists into the floor repeatedly.

"Dad" I screamed.

"Willis" Ace's mum yelled.

He passed out.

My eyes were blood-red.

I took up a rod on the floor. I threw it at the creature. It flew at an incredible speed and power. It pierced the ogre and pinned it to the wall.

*ROAR*

I looked at my hands in surprise. I never knew I commanded such power.

It held the rod and drew itself out from the wall.

*ROAR*

It ran for me. Just then, my senses went numb. I was confused; I didn't know what to do. It hit me with the back of it's hand. It sent me flying.

It rushed for me. It smacked me hard with it's knuckles. I felt weak instantly.

*ROAR*

It looked back in rage. Shola pierced it with another rod. It hit Shola, sending him flying across the room.

*ROAR*

It was hurt. It looked at Ace's mum who was still attending to Ace. She was oblivious of the ogre advancing towards her.

"Mrs. Queen, get out of there".

I was too late.

It hit her. It sent her across the room.

*ROAR*

It walked for her, relishing the sight of her blood. I couldn't stand up. Dad had passed out. Shola didn't look too good either. Ace was still in the crater, obviously out.

Nobody could save her now!

She crawled backwards in fright. The ogre was still advancing towards her.

Then she hit the dead end! Her back against the wall! There was nowhere to run now!

Just then, the unimaginable happened!
