Destiny's Observer

Leo is a 33-year-old office worker who has been plagued by recurring nightmares for the past month. In these nightmares, he witnesses the enigmatic world of Elysium through the eyes of a young orphan cultivator, shunned by society. However, Leo's life takes an unexpected turn when he dies on Earth and reincarnates as the very same boy he had been seeing in his nightmares, thanks to a mysterious oracle system. Equipped with the power to predict the causes of events that shape destiny, Leo embarks on a journey within the world of Elysium. He uses the oracle system's predictive abilities akin to a skilled gambler, seeking to uncover the underlying causes behind the events unfolding around him. With each successful prediction, Leo grows more powerful, harnessing the system's assistance to identify the factors responsible for reshaping the fate of cultivators and other influential figures. As Leo observes the triumphs and downfalls of the inhabitants of Elysium, he maintains a detached mindset, refraining from interfering in their affairs. His sole focus is on survival and leading a cautious, steady life, steering clear of the tumultuous struggles that grip Elysium. Despite witnessing the grandeur and the tragic consequences of the world he now inhabits, Leo remains distant and indifferent, harboring a resolve to navigate this unfamiliar realm without being drawn into its conflicts.

Ryan was flirting with a beautiful mortal waitress. He enjoyed spending time with mortal girls because they didn't have the arrogance that cultivator girls had. They were easy to impress since they hoped to win his heart, so they could become his concubine or even his servant to escape their miserable lives.

Ryan had not met anyone who succeeded in this because he didn't like to bother himself with all that and just gave them enough money to turn their lives around. He was a generous person, unlike those who spoke ill of him. He had a chivalrous side to himself, which was why he always rewarded the girls he spent time with generously.

For those who did not want to be with him or rejected his advances, Ryan, if he felt like it, would reveal his family background and try to impress them to accept his offer. If this was not enough, and Ryan thought they were worthy of his effort, he would talk to their parents or family and try to bribe them to make their daughter accept his offer.

Usually, at this stage, the girl's family would talk to her and then send her to him. But even then, he wouldn't force himself on them and would just wait for them to surrender themselves to him. If they wouldn't surrender, he would just send the girl back and take back his money. Even if the amount of money was insignificant to him, he wouldn't give up the money. He didn't like feeling empty-handed or being on the losing side of a deal.

Sometimes, after he sent the girl back and took his money, the girl's family would get angry and might harm or torture the girl. Ryan thought this wasn't his fault. He hadn't asked or expected them to harm the girls who didn't accept his offer. He just moved on.

For the ones whose parents or family he talked to, if he didn't get any results, he wouldn't threaten them, slaughter them, or use his family influence to force them to accept his offer, unlike the stories that people told each other. He would just respect their choice and leave them be. He had a chivalrous side to himself and liked to act on it.

Ryan was in a relaxed mood, flirting with the waitress at the tea house, with little regard for the public setting. He was comfortable with his own desires and didn't care who saw him enjoying himself. Suddenly, however, his mood soured as he overheard someone referring to him as a disgusting and arrogant person. His chivalrous side had been wounded and he was no longer feeling carefree.

Turning to the source of the conversation, Ryan recognized the three fellow sect members who had been speaking. He knew almost all the influential people in the sect, and he had learned whom to avoid and whom he could deal with. His knowledge had helped him stay out of trouble thus far.

Among the three people speaking, Ryan recognized Rose and Jack, who had similar backgrounds to his own. He realized he could not mess with them. The third person was an outer sect disciple whom Ryan could ignore.

Ryan prided himself on his strength, but he also understood the value of picking his battles carefully. He knew when to avoid confrontations with those who were stronger than him or those who came from a similar background.

When he overheard a conversation between Rose, Jack, and an outer sect disciple, Ryan didn't want to create an unnecessary conflict. So, he kept himself occupied by fooling around with the waitress. However, something the outer sect disciple said caught his attention, and he found himself listening more closely. Despite the waitress's attempts to distract him, Ryan started to focus on the discussion. However, after noticing that the waitress was trying to keep him entertained, he decided to let her be and resumed his attention to the conversation at hand.

While Rose and Jack had criticized him, the outer sect disciple offered a different perspective. According to the disciple, there was nothing wrong with Ryan's behavior, and it was acceptable to use any means necessary to achieve one's desires. Ryan was taken aback by the disciple's lack of judgment or resentment towards him. He had encountered many people who acted as though they were morally superior, but this was the first time he had met someone who acted differently.

Ryan Long came to the realization that if people were more honest about their desires, they might behave more like him than they cared to admit. Unlike many others, he refused to pretend to be someone else. He believed in being true to himself and embracing his identity, which he saw as a mark of chivalry.

After listening for a while, Ryan decided to befriend with the outer sect disciple. He was tired of his regular friends always flattering him or trying to improve their social standing by making connections with his family. Though Ryan initially enjoyed being worshipped, he eventually grew bored and found their company unfulfilling. The outer sect disciple caught his attention because he seemed different. Ryan sensed that he was a chivalrous person like himself.

So Ryan just slapped the waitress's butt and told her stop and gave her a big tip. Then he started to head over to the table of outer sect discipline.
