Lover's Cliff

Hua City 's sub urb was located in an uplevel area. It had many beautiful peaks. 

There was a mansion on each peak which was very costly. 

Only one peak did not have a mansion as there was a cliff next to it. The cliff was very dangerous, so the government prevented the company from building a mansion here. Then it became a scenic spot. 

Mansion which was more closer to the cliff was more expensive. So, Xander's mansion was the nearest, leaving only one peak. 

 Under the moonlight and small bulbs the area around the Lover's Cliff was illuminated. In the dim might and quiet environment, everything glittered and gave a heart some peace. 

There was a story behind the name of the cliff. Once there were a couple. The girl was of a rich family who lived in a mansion. She fell in love with the son of their driver. She knew her family would oppose so they had fled. But they were discovered by her family and chased. The chase ended at this Cliff. The girl's brother held her at gunpoint, and made her lover jump off the cliff. Seeing him fall t, the girl also jumped. They both died but left a note that if they could not be together in this life, they could be together in the afterlife. So the cliff came to be known as lovers' cliff.

This peace was something which Christina required at this time. She sat on a bench and looked around. 

There were not many couples present but the number was still not less. Some sat on the benches, some were strolling holding hands and some were enjoying ice cream. But all of them had big smiles and were content . 

Only she was alone and looked sad. There were many times when heart broken people came, so it was common. Nobody paid attention to her. 

Christina suddenly stood up and moved towards the cliff. Wait! She was not going suicide. Life is important dude.

She wanted to feel the cold winds which were blowing and nature's beauty to indulge her. She wanted to relieve all her anxieties. She stood at the railing which was 2m away from the dangerous edge of the cliff. 

She closed her eyes and opened her arms inviting the wind towards her. She was asking the mighty minds to take her away and allow her to fly along with them.

She was guilty that she was again surfacing the character which she had in the past. She was blaming herself for losing the control. She had decided to apologise to Xander and sort things out. That day was their anniversary, and she had planned so much. Moreover what would Grandpa Alex feel?

Thinking about the word 'trust', she did not know. Xander hurt her but everyone deserves a second chance. Then she remembered the day of her wedding. 

''Christy dear, Xander has trust issues, please be patient with him, okay? If he does something wrong, just come and complain to me. But don't leave him.'', Grandpa Alex had told her these words when they were moving towards the altar for marriage vows. 

She was so lost that she was not able to hear the screams.Her background was in chaos. People tried to call her but she was not able to heat a single noise.She was satisfied to clear her head. 

When she was about to turn, something hit her from behind. She was not able to react. Something had pushed her and now she was in the air.

She came back to her senses as she found herself falling down the cliff along with a black car and some of the railing of the cliff. 

She wanted to scream but no words came outside her mouth. The cold pressure hit her injuries from before and was aching. 

' Maybe it is just a dream. Some time ago, I was asked to fly and now when God has granted my wish, why shall I scream?', she smiled as she closed her eyes.

She collected her courage. She wanted to say something. She knew that she was going to be in deep sleep or already in sleeping mode but her consciousness is there. Before she could lose it, she wanted to say something. 

'' Xander, I love you. I will tell you this, when my dream is over and will wake up. '', she said in a loud voice with closed eyes.
