The party had gone by in a blur of excitement, and unlike my mother, I didn't set the tent on fire. Samuel stayed by my side the whole time, it was a relief to see no she-wolf flirting with him. My mother told me that, that would change. No one wants to get caught flirting with the new king and getting a beating from the queen. She even said she would let Robert deal with them, claiming she had trained him to attack on command. The whole time she was explaining it Samuel had a horrified look on his face. Once midnight had hit everyone started to go home. I was relieved, now I can finally shower and relax. I grinned when Emerald handed me Chandler, I immediately kissed his forehead. "How's my little prince doing?" I cooed to him.
