Chapter 7: Unexpected

Addison's POV

Mom and dad are going home today. I just found out, if I hadn't asked Zariah I wouldn't have known they were going home now. After we ate I went to my bathroom and took a bath. After I took a bath, I looked at the time and it was only six o'clock in the morning. I just took my cellphone and listened to music.I saw at the window that Zariah left riding her bike.

In the middle of listening to music my cellphone vibrated. I looked at it and saw that someone sent me a message. This is a new number. So I opened the message full of curiosity.

"Hey, it's me Rage. Let's meet in the park, where we first met.""I was surprised by what I read. Rage? I'm confused. Did we first meet in the park? All I know is here at home. Does Zariah already know this? Did she know he was here?I can't deny I smiled at what I read. I got dressed right away. I was excited to see him. It's been a long time since I last saw him. I missed him so much. I know this is wrong but, I can't hide how I really feel about him. I love him. That's why I was so hurt when I heard that Zariah and him were getting married when they grew up.I do not know why he will meet me. Maybe because of Zariah? I was saddened by what I thought.

I left the house and went to the park he says. The park is not far from our house so I arrived there in less than ten minutes.The place is quiet, I only see few people here. I sat down in the chair first while waiting for him. It's been five minutes but I still don't see Rage. I picked up my cellphone. I was about to message him when I felt someone touched me from behind.

I looked at who it was. I was surprised and my heartbeat quickened. Gosh, he became even more handsome.I stared at him carefully. His pointed nose and red lips are attractive to look at. Shit, my heart. I missed you so damn much Addison"he said to me. My eyes widened because of what he said. What is he saying? Maybe he just missed me as a friend.I just smiled at him. I was about to speak when he suddenly hugged me. I was surprised at what he did. What is he doing? Zariah might see us here. I wanted to stop him but something was holding me back. What is happening to me? Yes I love him but it is wrong. I stopped thinking first and I hugged him back. I feel very safe because of his hug. We hugged for a few minutes before we let go.Don't you miss me? "he asked me. If you only knew Rage, I missed you so much.Of course I miss you, it's been a long time since we last met "I replied to him. He smiled at me. Shit, he looks more handsome when he smiles. I stared at him, I fell in love with him even more.I suddenly thought of Zariah. This is wrong, I must now forget how I feel for him. They will get married soon. Nagkita na ba kayo ni Zariah? Siguradong miss ka na non."pagtatanong ko sa kaniya. Syempre nagkita na sila sabi ko nalang sa isip ko. Hindi naman pwedeng nakipag kita siya sa akin na hindi pa sila nagkikitang dalawa. No, maybe later at your house"he replied. Kumunot naman ang noo ko sa sagot niya. Hindi pa sila nagkikita? Magsasalita na sana ako nang maunahan niya ako. So, lets go?" pag aaya niya sa akin. Saan kami pupunta? Ah baka sa bahay kasi pupunta rin doon ang mga magulang niya. Tumango nalang ako sa kaniya bilang sagot. Naglakad naman siya at iginaya papunta sa kotse niya. Inalalayan niya akong pumasok sa loob ng sasakyan niya. Napaka gentleman niya. Bumibilis ang tibok ng puso tuwing nakikita ko siya. Shit, I'm  really fucking inloved with him.

Hindi ko namalayang nakarating na pala kami dito sa bahay. Kinakabahan ako, baka makita kami ni Zariah. Shit, baka kung ako ang isipin niya. Bumaba na kami pareho at sabay na pumasok sa loob. Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag hindi ko nakita si Zariah. Naabutan kong naka upo at nagku kwentuhan ang mga sila mom at mga magulang ni Rage. Natigil sila sa pag uusap nang makita kaming dalawa. Nagkatinginan sila sa isa't isa. Siguro nagtataka sila kung bakit kami mag kasama ni Rage. Lumapit naman ako kila tita at tito. Yumakap ako sa kanilang dalawa.  Long time no see tita and tito, I missed you  both."sabi ko sa kanila. Ngumiti naman sila sa akin. Wow, ikaw ba yan Addison? parang kailan lang nung bata ka pa. "nakangiting sabi ni tita. Ngumiti nalang ako sa kaniya at dumeretso kila dad. Hinagkan ko silang dalawa. Namiss ko sila, isang linggo din namin silang hindi nakita. By the way , where's Zariah? Hindi ko pa siya nakikita simula nung dumating kami" nagtatakang tanong ni tita. Nasaan nga ba siya? Baka nasa kwarto lang o kaya naman hindi pa nakauwi. Maybe, she's in her room tita." sagot ko nalang sa kaniya. Tumango naman siya sa akin bilang sagot. Gusto niyo bang tawagin ko siya tita?"pagtatanong ko ulit sa kaniya. Sana lang ay nasa kwarto siya. No iha, si Rage nalang ang titingin kay Zariah. Mag- usap muna tayo rito. " ngayon ay si tito Davis naman ang nagsalita. Nagets ko naman ang gusto nilang sabihin. Hindi pa nga pala sila nagkikita. Ngumiti nalang ako sa kaniya na sinasabing nakuha ko ang gusto niyang sabihin. Rage, puntahan mo si Zariah sa kwarto niya. Sa second floor iyon, with black door. " sabi ni mom. Tinignan ko naman si Rage na tumango lang. Hindi man lang siya ngumiti , hindi ba siya excited makita si Zariah? Baka ayaw niya lang ipakitang masaya siya. Inumpisahan na niyang naglakad  papunta sa kwarto ng kapatid ko.

Rage's POV

No iha, si Rage nalang ang titingin kay Zariah. Mag- usap muna tayo rito." dad said. What? Why me? I just sighed. I can't refuse. I walked to the second floor.I immediately looked for the black door. I saw it immediately. I was about to knock when I heard a loud snoring. I turned around then put my ear to the door. And I can confirm that this is where the sound comes from.I just laughed at what I heard. I knocked on the door three times but no one came out. I knocked hard and I was not mistaken because she spoke. She didn't just speak because she shouted! I think I disturbed her sleep. Who's that?Why don't you just break the damn door?!" I am not deaf"she shouted. She said she was not deaf but I knocked three times and  still didn't come out. I just did not answer her. I felt her walking towards the door.He opened the door and I saw her face. I saw the shock on her face. Maybe she didn't expect to see me. She was just looking at me. And tears fell into her eyes.
