Meeting dark in darkness

A/N: Guys on a serious note please tell me are you liking the story, because from extremely busy schedule I am giving update. First of all I was not planning to start this book now but some of you insisted me to start this one.

Then Tamara went back to hotel with Rosemary’s driver. She packed her luggage and cleared her bills before checking out. The driver helped her in putting luggage in car trunk, while she took care Edna.

Then she returned back to Rosemary Casa with Edna. She saw Ember and Rosemary already waiting for her at the gate, she was feeling good getting soo much love from them but scared that what if she broke their hearts one day.

Ember gasped looking at the Edna in bird cage and went towards Tamara, “Lovey, what is this??” he asked

“Ember, meet my pet cocktail Edna. Edna say hello to this gentleman” said Tamara.

“Hello from Edna, Hello Em" said Edna and Ember giggled at her typical parrot mimicking.

“Hello Edna, lovey this very funny and cute" said Ember and giggled.

“Will you let her come inside or not?? She will get tired here only" said Rosemary.

Then they went inside and Rosemary showed her room, while Ember followed her like tail. After showing her room Rosemary left and Ember climbed on bed and sat there silently looking at Tamara. Tamara hang the cage of Edna near a window and opened her luggage.

She started arranging her clothes and stuff in closet while Ember was smiling innocently. He couldn’t believe that his lovey was going to stay with him. He was scared of losing her, he found peace of heart in her company. Whenever Tamara’s eyes met with his she use to smile back to him. She found him very cute with smile showing his small pearly teeth.

When she was done arranging her stuffs, she went to Ember, “Ember, I need to freshen up. Please wait here like a good child" said Tamara

“Okay, lovey come fast" said Ember and kissed on her cheeks. Tamara went to washroom and freshen up. It took her almost 15 minutes to do that. When she came out she saw Ember gawking at Edna curiously who was moving her beak in feathers. Tamara went to Ember and picked him in her arms, “What are you looking at gentleman soo intently??” asked Tamara.

“Lovey, I think we should take her to doctor she has got ticks that’s why she is scratching herself” said Ember with straight serious face. Tamara smiled looking at the concern of a small kid for a animal.

“No, Ember she is doing preening.” Said Tamara

“What is preening lovey??” asked Ember.

“Preening is like…… like we apply cream on ourselves in the same way birds apply oil on their feathers” said Tamara.

“Woowww….. that’s amazing “ said Ember gazing at Edna.

At that same instant a maid knocked on door,

“Madam has called you for dinner” said maid.

Tamara nodded at her with a smile and followed her downstairs with Ember in her arms. While walking downstairs Ember was blabbering miscellaneous things and Tamara was patiently listening to him and smiling.

Rosemary and Victor saw this from down and smiled at eachother, “I think your decision was right, Rose. Ember never looks this happy even with you" said Victor.

“I always make correct decision” said Rosemary proudly.

Then Tamara placed Ember on his chair and sat next to Ember. Then the dinner was served and everyone started eating quietly except Ember who was nagging on his maid Sandra to serve Tamara.

“Child you’re like daughter to us, feel free to ask for anything and you can use anything you want in house" said Victor

“Thank you, sir. Already you are giving me soo much than my requirements.” said Tamara.

“I think you didn’t hear me well, you are like our daughter. So call me either dad or uncle no Sir and you have all rights to ask for anything because what you are doing to my grandson no one ever did not even his parents” said Victor.

“Sorry uncle but I am doing nothing and moreover anyone can fell for such cute child and children are blessing of God, so how could we disappoint almighty” said Tamara.

“God bless you child and may you get a perfect life partner who will take care of you" said Rosemary

Tamara gave a awkward smile trying to digest her words, as the ‘life partner’ made her remember Faust and what she did to him before coming here. Then the remaining dinner went quietly. After dinner Tamara went back to her room with Ember following her like a tail.

The scene was cute but funny for everyone to watch Ember following her everywhere holding her hem of her long rayon skirt. Rosemary and Victor both laughed together at the insecurity of their grandson. Even maids were giggling seeing this and were feeling relieved as there will be no more tantrums from him.

After Tamara reached her room, she sat on floor with her books and started studying while Ember was sitting on her bed quietly, looking at Tamara and Edna . After sometime he dozed of there itself.

Tamara was so focused in her work she didn’t realize when does the time passed and clock ticked 12AM. She wrapped up her work and took Ember in her arms gently without disturbing his sleeping. She went to his room and put him in covers. Before leaving she kissed on his head and smiled without any reason.

The Whole mansion was dark with lights off, Tamara was walking back to her room. Then she saw a silhouette of man climbing stairs. She moved there with fast steps and next second she tripped down. But she found herself in strong and warm arms.

The person stared down in her light grey eyes intensely and Tamara stared back in his brown eyes with same intensity. It was like a competition between them and none wanted to lose it. Neither Tamara nor that guy blinked their eyes, there was battle in there brains but there hearts were drawning in eachothers embrace.

Next second a sharp light fell on Tamara’s face and she stood back on her feet rubbing her eyes due to irritation because of strong flash. She then turned around and both said together,

“Arrogant dog"

“Ugly fat bitch”
