Chapter 7; Give me those kids here...

Su Mao held his hand and dragged him away to the other empty corridor with a blind spot... "My sister had just been killed, she only managed to give birth to these kids, we have to keep everything a secret, you would have to note down that I'm their mother... The doctor immediately nodded his head with the sudden notification and immediately worked on the important papers while checking on the kids.

Su Mao strode over to the nursery to check on the kids when a nurse came across her, from a distance, she could already recognize her... Su Mao didn't look like someone who had given birth.

"Do you need a check-up?" The nurse approached her while scrutinizing her carefully.

"No, no.. check on the kids first, they need urgent medical care then me..." She anxiously suggested brushing her off, she hadn't given birth so there was nothing to check her for.

"Madam.. the kids are alright but the other is having a problem with his heart as he received fewer nutrients and didn't develop well.." the pediatrician notified her while glancing at her from head to toe curiously, he knew her from her coming-of-age celebration party that was celebrated in a high profile way and also gazetted in the Magazine.

The Su family was the fifth wealthiest family in China and it was famous for the production of its quality jewelry. How could they not recognize the recently appointed CEO?

"Thank you... thank you.." she bobbed her head gratefully while she sat down beside the babies' bed trying to calm her nervous system, she glanced at the newborns who were now napping in the warm temperature.

The nurses began cleaning them before they swaddled them in the new baby blankets that were generally offered in the hospital and gifted to any newborn.

Tears streamed down her dirty cheeks gazing at the tiny babies that were bundled up together peacefully, not to arouse anything suspicious, she paid the hospital bill and sneaked out with the babies without delays accompanied by Tang Ming after the doctor gave her the needed papers.

"Miss Su, isn't it tricky to sneak out? It's raining at the moment...." Tang Ming was worried about her missus getting sick and so would the kids get easily infected.

Su Shou's body sustained several bullet injuries that were done deliberately, without knowing the enemy in hiding, the danger was lurking everywhere, and she couldn't expose them to any danger.

" Okay...." Su Mao was carrying two babies while Tang Ming carried one with their handbags.

They went back to where they had abandoned their car carefully, no one was around the Streets and it felt it was still safer.

They unlocked the doors and got inside but there was already one man inside the car with a gun.

Su Mao had just settled down on the passenger seat and closed the door when a cold metal pressed on the back of her neck.

Her heart immediately chilled trembling all over her hands sweating... She was holding the kids in her arms and they were sleeping soundly.

"Give me those kids here...." That rough voice echoed from behind as Tang Ming settled down in the driver's seat with one baby placed on top of the others carefully in Su Mao's arms.

"Okay..." Su Mao who was planning to lift suddenly heard a gunshot, Tang Ming had subdued the man shooting him dead.

"I'm sorry miss... I have to do this...." Tang Ming alighted and dragged his body out of the backseat dumping it there before boarding and zooming away.

It was dark and that place didn't have any stationed street lights, even if there were cameras, nothing would get captured as it was dark.

"It's okay..." Su Mao was nervous all the time and felt ominous, she gazed into the front before bending over and eying the babies in her arms.

Why did they want the kids? Why did they kill her sister for?

"Where do we go miss..." Tang Ming queried as they drove into the highway, the police check had moved and they wouldn't come across them, for the moment, they were safe.
