Chapter 19; Don't worry.....

" Don't worry." Su Tong gently stroked his head as he held his shoulders protectively. He was always protective of him knowing how weak he was.

Once the public elevator door opened, they got inside boarded the elevator, and rode it down with other workers who were using it.

Su Ting laid back on the couch feeling annoyed being left all alone and deserted there, she closed her eyes to take a nap while waiting for her mother.

Su Mao had gotten over to the boardroom and settled down on her chair as the President and Chairwoman of the Hospital.

The meeting had been going on for at least two hours and her attendance wasn't necessarily required, but since she had decided to go back to China, she had to attend and notify them instead of making phone calls.

"Madam.. there is an issue here that requires your cooperation and assistance.." A top surgeon spoke out proposing his ideas trying to lure her in to assist him in this tricky operation.

Su Mao was known as the Medical God with magical hands in the Medical Industry, be it surgery, research, or anything, it would always turn positive.

" I'm not performing any surgeries from this moment forward, I'm moving back home to China the day after tomorrow if nothing goes wrong..." She leaned back on her seat lazily watching them.

Did they think she was stupid? They would always try to include her in their surgeries wanting fame whenever they had a successful surgery.

" What? Why so sudden?" Another surgeon quizzed her worriedly, they could perform surgeries but the most complicated ones were taken care of by her personally as the successful rate was a bit higher compared to just them.

"I have things to take care of back home, so don't take on any surgeries that you aren't able to work on or you can transfer them back to China... I might schedule a few appointments in a month to operate on..." She lightly cautioned them and gave them an option.

They couldn't question her decisions as she had all the right to decide whatever to take on as the President. The meeting went on as she only listened while noting down any key factors.

Su Tong and Su Tang finally arrived at the ground floor, the elevator opened as they disembarked, and stepped out of the hospital holding his hand.

While they were walking outside out of the entrance door onto the pavement, an ambulance drove in and halted just at the emergency door that was a few steps away from where they were.

Several first-hand nurses rushed out with hospital-wheeled beds as several wounded patients were transferred from the ambulance over to the hospital beds, they were bloodied all over as emergency doctors hurriedly tried to resuscitate them.

He paused in his strides, he gazed at the injured people who probably might have gotten into an accident and some might never wake up, others will become crippled and others will end up being vegetative, seeing their situation, he thought probably he was favorably off. His condition was better and he should be positive.

"Brother, what is it?" Su Tong peeked toward where his gaze was directed and he caught sight of that bloody situation, the injured patients were being transferred from the ambulance over to the hospital beds and immediately rushed into the emergency.

"Nothing, let's go." Su Tang grinned before turning around and they strode away his heart a bit lightened. He didn't have to be sad, someone somewhere was experiencing a rough situation compared to his.

They walked over to a nice restaurant that was just across the street and settled down in a hidden corner and enjoyed every available delicious food the restaurant offered.

"Mnnnh... Brother, this food is so delicious..." Su Tang grinned sweetly as his cheek dimples sunk in deeper with a gratification flickering from his warm and contented smile.

The patrons who were in the restaurant couldn't help but catch a second glimpse of him, he was stunning and his smile was fascinating and enchanting as his green eyes sparkled.

Her tiny mouth was oiled all over as his cheeks puffed out full of food, Su Tong got some serviettes and wiped his mouth. Su Tang's hands were only for eating.

"All right, you can have more, but remember, this is our little secret." He deboned the fish and served him the white meat, everything they had requested, was what he had craved to eat and it wasn't that oily or spicy.

Su Tong didn't have any appetite for eating nor was he feeling hungry, he just preferred to accompany his brother and make him happy. He wanted to see him smile more.
