Maureen's Homecoming Day

The day Aldy had been waiting for finally arrived. The day Maureen finally got home. With a glass of black coffee accompanied by a cigarette, which he had smoked more than half of, Aldy sat on one of the two chairs on the second-floor balcony.

His face looks tired because last night he really just finished decorating Maureen's room according to her beloved sister's request. Not only the room decorations, but he also arranged the things from Maureen's old room in her old house with her late mother. Although, there are some items that Aldy sorts and stores in the warehouse.

And since today was Sunday, he didn't mind staying up all night because he didn't have to worry about falling asleep in class. Also, Maureen was scheduled to be out of the hospital at eight in the morning. So, Aldy chose to hold back his sleep and tiredness a little longer until Maureen came home.

The gate was opened by the private security guard of their house, and the car driven by Heri's personal driver passed into the front yard of the house, which was quite spacious until it stopped right in front of the main door.

The driver opened the door for Heri and Maureen then opened the trunk to take Maureen's things from the hospital.

"How is it? Do you like the house?"

Maureen nodded with a smile at her father.

Aldy, who heard that chuckled softly and obeyed Maureen's request. He walked down the stairs until he was right in front of Maureen. Without warning, Maureen lunged at Aldy and wrapped her arms around Aldy's waist while leaning her head against Aldy's chest.

Heri, who was standing right near them, could only smile at Maureen's cuddly behavior towards Aldy.

Aldy still doesn't understand the meaning of Maureen's sudden hug. "Why so suddenly? Are you feeling dizzy?"

Maureen shook her head in response to Aldy's question. "I miss you."

"Come on. We've only been apart for two days."

Maureen didn't respond. Heri grabbed Maureen's head and stroked it gently. "Aren't you too old to act like this?"

Aldy smiled at Heri. "Don't worry, Dad. It's okay."

"Okay then. I want to change my clothes. When you're done with your business, I'll be waiting for you at the dinner table." said Heri, who kissed Maureen's head briefly and then walked away from the two of them.

Aldy set his sights on the driver, who was carrying a small suitcase containing Maureen's belongings from the hospital. "Just put it there. I'll take it to Maureen's room."

The driver complied and left Maureen's small suitcase on the floor, then turned and walked out.

Aldy's attention now returns to Maureen. "By the way, I haven't showered yet."

Maureen slightly moved her face away from Aldy's chest and looked up. "Ew! Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"You didn't ask."

Maureen pursed her lips, "Do I really have to ask at a time like this?"

"By the way, I've finished decorating your room. Want to see it?" asked Aldy, who was still being hugged by Maureen. Maureen nodded enthusiastically. But still, she didn't let go of her arms around Aldy's waist. "Then you can let me go first."

Maureen shook her head as she wrapped her arms around Aldy's waist. Maureen's behavior is sometimes troublesome when she's too cuddly like this. But for some reason, Aldy didn't mind at all. In fact, he liked it when Maureen act like this. For him, Maureen was too adorable to his heart to handle.

Regardless of their age which is only a year apart, even if Maureen goes to school later, Aldy will be in the third grade while Maureen will have to repeat the first grade.

Aldy, who had given up on asking Maureen to let go of his arms, finally decided to take Maureen's suitcase and walk up the stairs to the top floor, while Maureen was now hugging her from behind.

Aldy held the suitcase with one hand, while his other hand held Maureen's hand, which was wrapped around her waist, trying to keep her from falling on the stairs.

Until they arrived in front of Maureen's room. Maureen just released her arms from Aldy's body and rushed into her new room. Of course, she was happy, because this time her room was three times larger than her previous room. Moreover, the decoration, which is dominated by light pink and white, which are her two favorite colors, really satisfied the girl's eyes.

Aldy is satisfied to see Maureen's happy face thanks to her hard work for the past few days.

Aldy put Maureen's suitcase next to the cupboard and walked out. "Then please enjoy your bedroom. I want to take a shower."

"Okay!" Maureen replied cheerfully, who was still fascinated by her room.

Under the shower, Aldy washed his whole body from the soap and shampoo that flowed down to the floor. He knew that taking a shower in the morning after not sleeping all night was not good for his health. But he didn't really care about it. After all, it's not every day he does this either.

Slowly, his palms rubbed all the curves of the body, with muscles that were not classified as large muscles but looked very hard, so that they matched the proportions of his body with several veins sticking out from the top of it. Really the type of muscle formed because of stamina, not because of the help of the tools available in the gym.

Under the pouring water from the shower above his head, Aldy fell silent. He thought about everything he had been through so far. By beating dozens of people from other schools last time, it seemed like his goal had been achieved to make his school environment safe enough for Maureen to study there.

Maureen immediately rushed into the bathroom and slammed the bathroom door shut. Aldy frowned at Maureen's behavior. "Why is she so nervous? Has she been holding back her shit for long?"

Aldy just shook his head and continued walking towards his room.

While in the bathroom, Maureen was still leaning her back against the door, with one hand holding her chest. She could feel that her heart was beating really fast.

Even though she was used to being cuddly for Aldy, to the extent that she felt comfortable hugging Aldy's body as his sister. But what she felt was completely different when she first saw Aldy's body, which was only wearing a towel wrapped around his waist.
