If there was one thing that Camilla hated at the moment was med-school.

Camilla had always wanted to be a doctor, paediatrician to be specific, ever since her parents once took her at a children's hospital for a charity event when she was ten. But when you have lectures and lessons like she does you tend to hate Med-school.

It's frustrating with all the assignments....so many of them.

It's almost the end of the year and her bestfriends in the whole world are due to leave the country soon...she doesn't know if she will ever see them again.

She going through so much emotion stress it's draining her whole being.

And to top it all off,her lecturers are giving her a hard time....so much attention and so much hard work. Especially the physiology lecturer.

Camilla's physiology lecturer has always been on her case, wether she gets an B on her assignments or she gets an A+ he has something to complain about...when she's late for the class or on time...it's like he lives to annoy and ruin her classes or just her whole entire day.

Her friends think it's because he actually has a crush on her and that's his way of dealing with his emotions...but she knows better than to listen to her friends. The man just has a grudge on her for some unknown reason. And that's why she can't wait for her residence to start so she can leave the school for some good time.

Being alone in the house and waking up early has become a problem for her. Having her family away on a family vacation hosted by her uncle's company left her feeling a little lonely.

She couldn't go with them because of her studies.....somehow she misses how they would always argue with her aunt about anything and everything,and how she would always complain about her being spoiled by her uncle.

Somehow again she was happy because she was all alone in the house and she had all the freedom she could get in a week's time. Being twenty one and still leaving with your only living family relatives tends to make you feel that way.

The only down part is she has been late for her classes more often than necessary and to make matters worse most of those classes involve the physiology class.....How unfortunate....

She took a shower and wore a black tank top,black jeans paired with white Snickers,hair up in a ponytail with loose trails on the sides of her face. She put her lab coat and assignments in her backpack and left with a banana for breakfast.

Waiting for the taxi to come around but ...the roads are so deserted you would think it's abandoned or something... Ugh...Silverest medical school is a ten minute drive on a day like this and about half an hour on foot...and right now she can't afford to walk, She only has twenty minutes before her classes begin and considered late again.

Five minutes later a taxi pulls up.... Camilla rushes in and they drive to school.

"Good morning everyone," Mr Cole,the physiology lecturer greets while scanning the room for Camilla. They make eye contact and he looks away to prepare for the lesson.

" Good morning Mr Cole." The class responds.

As the lesson commenced, Camilla's mind began to wander off....she began to think about home...the family is due today,So cooking dinner is expected.....she began to think how her cousin's are going to talk about the trip for the next week or two.

She will be turning twenty two in less than a month and she can finally leave the house and begin her own life...that's according to her uncle. Sometimes her uncle does spoil her a little,who still stays with a twenty one year old because she is too young to live by herself.

"Miss Carvell, would you like to share your thoughts with the class?...you seem to be in a deep state..." Mr Cole asked.

"No sir." Camilla answered as she felt eyes from different directions piercing at her.

...'The nerve of this man pointing me out when am thinking'. She huffed irritatedly.

After classes, Camilla went straight home.

As she reached the front.....she could see the cars parked and she knew everyone was back.

"Maya! Would you stop watching TV and help me put away all these things?!" She heard her aunt, Matildah , say before she could take a step inside.

and so it begins she thought.

Matilda is a beautiful forty year old woman who looks ten years younger with her full red glossy lip,dirty blond shiny hair tied up in a bun.....high cheekbones with green eyes and her pale skin.she is more on the short side of about 5'7...with curves in the right places like she's never had kids. She gorgeous that way.

"Sorry mom.....but Angela is just about to expose Leon and I can't miss this part_" Maya answered back.

Maya is her oldest daughter.

She has long honey blonde, originally brown cascading down to her mid-back in lose curls....she has her father's unique grey eyes with a shade of blue,long eyelashes with thin lips. She's on the tall side with a hight of 5'8 at only fifteen. She's has a petite body with small curves on the right places. All in all she is beautiful and looks more like her mom than dad.

Camilla's presence was not even noticed as she made her way into the house.

"Chloe-",.... "No can do mom, too busy..." Chloe answered motioning to her phone before her mom could finish.

Chloe is the younger twin.... apart from her light brown straight shoulder length hair , Chloe looks exactly like her sister,with the same height and body type.

The girls looked more like their mother,the only trait they got from their father was his eyes,hair and height.

Camilla could see that Matilda looked exhausted and felt bad for her.

She raised them like that and sometimes uncle always tells her to stop spoiling them so much but that's as much as he can do since he's rarely home.

Camilla walked towards the kitchen and carried some of the bags to the pantry to be put away.

"Welcome back aunt... How was the trip?",she greeted as she helped pack away the foods.

Matilda looked back at her and what she was putting away and replied "It was great....alot of fun". She couldn't even give thanks to Camilla as she got more bags. But Camilla was used to this. They packed in silence after that.

"Am hungry...,what's for dinner?....and where is Camilla haven't seen her anywhere today?." Chloe said from the couch she was on.

"Am in the kitchen almost done with dinner...." Camilla answered.

" If you helped, dinner would be quick..." She said though she knew what response she would receive.

Having no helpers in the evening was uncle's idea and the girls hate it. Camilla had to prepare dinner all on her own when she was home early or they would just eat take out, since uncle rarely eat home.

"No ways Camil... am just from getting a new nail do ,am tired and fatigue I can't start cooking now.." Chloe answered without looking away from her phone.

"Am not asking you to cook, just set the table...." Camilla tried again.

"I have a call.....hello...." and just like that Chloe left the living room with a fake phone call.

When Camilla put the last dishes in the dishwasher,she turned to Maya who was rinsing a glass.

" Didn't uncle come with?" She asked.

"He did. He just had work to do.....you know how dad is." Maya answered and left the kitchen. To watch more TV.

"Ami.....dear,sorry to wake you....just wanted to see how you are doing." Uncle is back..she thought to her self as she opened her eyes to those beautiful eyes.

As sleep left her eyes Camilla could now see her uncle well....he looked tired with bugs under his eyes....he was exhausted Camilla could tell.

"Hi Uncle.... welcome back...." She hugged him. "You look tired Uncle,you should get some much needed sleep....don't let me get all doctor on you....." Camilla teased as she sat back on her bed.

Thomas smiled. "No I wouldn't want that.... I'll get going then, goodnight Ami". He kissed her forehead and left her room.

Thomas Kilan is a 46 year old man,with short brown hair with a tint of grey here and there. He's a tall man with a muscular built body and not the everyday potbelly you see on old rich men, Wearing his three piece suit and briefcase in hand. Even at his age,he is quite a handsome man who loves his family more than anything in the world.

Thomas is the elder brother to Camilla's late mother.

Camilla looked at the bedside clock as her door closed.

It's two in the morning....'That man over-works himself'. She thought as she fell back into slumber.
