Can I borrow a kiss?

"Jayden. You are quite fortunate that I arrived at the club early. You appeared to be inebriated, and are you aware that impaired driving can result in paralysis, disfigurement, brain damage, and even death? Driving while intoxicated is also illegal. Drunk drivers frequently face substantial fines, loss of licence, and increased insurance costs." Freda boldly declared.

"What a braggart." Jayden mumbled, and his words were so low that Freda couldn't hear what he had just said.

She pushed her goggles back against her face, arching her brows. "Huh? Could you please restate your statement because I didn't understand what you said earlier?" Freda stated truthfully.

He sighed and refused to repeat his prior statement. "Drive me home so we can sign the contract." He decided to change the subject.

Freda breathed out. "What kind of work do you have for me? I can't follow you to your house unless I'm prepared to sign a contract for whatever job you're offering." She declared in a solemn tone.

Jayden nods his head slowly. "I'm seeking a housekeeper. Because my mansion is large and easily dirty, I'm offering two thousand dollars per week."

Freda breathed out. "Sir, what is the direction of your house? Before I sign the contract, I'd like to see how big your compound is." She scribbled.

Jayden directed his automobile, and Freda accelerated the engine till she arrived at his mansion.

Jayden tapped a button, and his compound gate opened automatically.

Freda drove inside the mansion and parked in the garage.

She got out of the car and began inspecting the structure of his mansion.

It was already late at night, and thanks to the light in the compound, she could easily observed her surroundings.

The mansion was enormous and stunning. Because of its height, it appeared to be a hotel. "Because it's a part-time job, I won't come here every day and I won't work long hours." She declared before turning her glance to Jayden.

He grinned pleasantly as he took his office bag and walked directly to the entrance door of his sitting room. "Let's talk inside, and beside, I don't bite."

Jayden did not allow Freda to disagree with his statement before he proceeded to enter his house.

Freda exhaled, knowing the dangers of being alone with a drunk man.

Exhaling, she shifted her focus to the puzzle box, where she set a puzzle for herself and solved it before exhaling once more.

She concluded that she should just walk inside and sign the contract because her employer doesn't appear to know how to bite.

She removed her shoe as she entered the sitting room, stunned by what was befall her.

The sitting room was stunning, with many crystal lighting and chandelier lights.

The wall was painted white, and he had sky blue chairs with a beautiful center table in the middle of the sitting room.

The pleasant aroma of tangerine air freshener entered her nostrils, reminding her of Jayden's office air freshener.

The air conditioning kept the sitting room toasty.

Jayden was already seated on the blue couch, and he stretched his hands out, motioning for Freda to join him. "Come here, little lamb. Why don't we get down to business?" He inquired.

Freda gives a nod. "Bring out the contract, and I'll sign it right away." She stated in a flat manner.

Why was she becoming so solemn?

Jayden chuckled as he took the contract from his office bag.

He extended his hands out and handed Freda a piece of paper. "Take. Before signing, thoroughly read everything and ensure that you understand everything." Jayden explained.

Freda took the piece of paper from him and Jayden did something unexpected. He began unbuttoning his shirt as he hurled it to the ground.

Freda shoved her googles back as she locked her gaze on him, but Jayden didn't appear to bother.

She sat down on the couch beside Jayden and began reading the contract. She read it from beginning to end, and all of the terms and conditions were in her favor.

She took a pen from her backpack and was about to sign the contract when Jayden's words stopped her.

"Little lamb. Is there an airport nearby or is it my heart taking off?" He asked in a beautiful deep voice, winking at her, before trailing his index finger down the abs on his chest.

What the heck was that?

Before signing the document, she sighed and returned her gaze to Jayden. The contract was set to expire in three months, and Freda saw it as an opportunity to save a significant amount of money for her house expenses and her mother's treatment.

She got up from the couch and walked over to Jayden. "Your signature is required." He was informed by her.

Jayden stood up and snatched the paper from her. He leaned in closer to Freda's ear, closing the gap between them. "Hey, did you realize you're pretty and I'm cute? Together we'd be pretty cute." He muttered, his hot breath caressing Freda's delicate skin.

She took a step back from him, her gaze fixed on her puzzle. "Jayden, I need your signature on the contract."

"Ohh this? I'll sign if you respond to my question."

'Why is he attempting to drain the last of my strength?' She questioned herself.

"What was the question again?"

He bites his lower lip and winks at Freda. "Have you seen a doctor recently? Because I believe you are deficient in vitamin me."

Freda became immobilized after Jayden's statement since Jayden appeared to be so intoxicated that he was spewing garbage.

To Jayden, what he was saying was going to turn Freda on, but in reality, it wasn't going to happen because she didn't see the humor of his statement.

"Hmm… I haven't seen the doctor in a while." She muttered, hoping he would sign the contract afterwards.

Jayden took Freda's pen and immediately signed the contract, just as she had predicted.

He extended his hands, and just as Freda was about to accept the contract, Jayden drew his hands back.

What was he trying to do to her?

Freda was not prepared for his weird games, so she approached Jayden, and as she reached for the contract, Jayden grabbed her by the shoulder and pinned her to the wall.

Her heart skipped a beat as she opened her eyes wide in surprise and stared at Jayden.

It happened so suddenly that she still hadn't processed what was going on when Jayden leant in closer and time stopped. "Can I borrow a kiss? I swear I'll give it back." He whispered, letting her feel the warmth of his hot breath on her skin.
