CHAPTER 261: The Jewel Demon
Aella felt confused rather than shocked when she saw the familiar red pair of eyes staring back at her through the spaces in between the crowd in the hall. She could never mistake those eyes as she hadn't seen any like them before.
She had expected him to show up here but she didn't think he would stare at her right in the open like this when they were so many people here.
She knew there was something he wanted because he couldn't just be hovering around them without an agenda. Holding her in hostage in the Duke's ball, coming to steal her sister's jewel and then kidnapping Luen right from under her eyes.
Everything felt too much to be called a coincidence. Aella somehow knew that he had targeted their family for a reason. And that reason might not be far from the fact that she was married to an angel who had been depicted as a demon for so long.
