CHAPTER 252: The Thief's Confession

"Where do you think he is going?" Aella whispered to Bane as they followed the young boy quietly from behind.

After Bane had noticed the same thief he had beaten up in the Duke's ball four days ago, they followed him, wanting to get to the end of his case and if possible, deliver him to the appropriate authorities to deal with him.

Aella ordered the servants to head home without them as they tailed his back, wanting him to lead them to his gang or their hideout. Bane was mainly after the one who had Aella in captive because he had lots of energy left in him to fight.

They had followed the lad to Old Retaril where the abandoned buildings and dilapidated structures remained. The rickety town seemed to be an abode for many notorious criminals so Aella wasn't surprised to see him here.

Aella paused in her footsteps when Bane held her wrist. The young lad had entered an uncompleted building and it seemed that they had gotten a lead on the case.
