CHAPTER 100: The Bold Declaration

Aella walked into the main hall of the Castle and dusted off the snow from her body while feigning ignorance to the male standing like he had seen a ghost.

She dropped her backpack on the floor and untied her sword from the belt in her trousers.

She could see Bane turning towards her but she kept her face as impassive as ever, not wanting him to notice how nervous she was.

"Hello, Bane," she threw a small smile towards his direction.

"W-What are you…" Bane sounded confused and shocked.

"What am I? I am a human, or have you forgotten?" Aella flipped her hair as she answered.

"N-No, I mean, what are you doing here?" Bane asked with a frown on his face.

"Dusting off the snow. It is hellishly much," Aella uttered as she continued to pat the non-existent snow from her clothes.

"What are you doing here, Aella? I thought you left?" Bane asked more clearly and Aella's heart skipped a beat.
