Chapter 43 - Eighth Match

Xela checks his weapon and his guns. Then he takes a nap for the rest of the time remaining.

He did not extend his time only took 30 mins to rest in the waiting room.

After the 7 matches, Xela notice that he was indeed he was lucky but he always remind himself not to be lower his guard.

Xela notices a sense of danger as just his feet touch the floor of the arena.

"Tck!" a voice of man resound the arena.

Xela was stunned the arena was transformed into a different place.

It looked like a ruined city in an apocalypse just happened.

"This is not an illusion, dont tell me this is a new game mode for arena just like Silver warned me about" Xela can help remember that his husband mention to him to guard against.

"I won't wonder how he can gather information like this?" Xela can help ask himself.

"What the hell is that?!" Xela was stunned as he notices a giant rat.

"What the F*ck why a giant rat!" Xela cant help complained.

He hates rodents animals. Others might find them cute but he found it hateful due to his bad experience with them in his childhood.

And now he was facing a rat as a big a large size dog.

Xela cant help looks towards where the sound came from. He wondered if his opponent had a hot weapon like him.

"I think it a shotgun or rifle? I think it was a bomb. It's too loud" Xela can help complained.

It was a bit disorienting for him to hear a lot of explosions from time to time.

Xela can help shake his head as he tried to balance himself.

"This opponent is too destructive" Xela can help say out loud.

"F*ck! This person had unlimited ammunition or what is bee-like 15 minutes nonstop!" Xela can help complain.

He to had a handgun but he only had 9 rounds for each gun. So he tends to save ammunition as much as possible.

"F*ck! Rats!" Xela can help complained seeing the 5 giant rats rushing towards him.

Xela had the sword in his right hand and a gun in his left hand.

Slice! Cut!

Xela cant help amazed notice that one of the giant rats was a bit different from the rest.

It was smaller but it had a different look at his eyes plus it did not attack him but it stayed at the sidelines.

"This one is a smart one," Xela said.

But the time he notice that the one giant rat was different he decided to force to eliminate it first.

Flash!

Xela was stunned that the giant rat was dodged his attack and it was faster than he expect.

"You are a fast big guy!" Xela can help say out loud.

Bang!

Xela shot that giant rat on the head and watch its body fall to the ground.

And the rest of the giant rats tried to escape sadly Xela had no intent to let them go.

After he killed all the giant rats he can't help to lean on the wall as he catches his breath.

"This intense, I need to find my opponent. I can't let this round to the last longer" Xela said to himself.

He knows that he needs to save his energy as much a possible so that he can survive this game.

Outside Alex can't help frown as he watches Xela's eighth match.

He knows that Xela was at the disadvantage but he had no choice to trust that he can survive the game.

Even Alexis the loud one was also silently watching his sister in law eighth match.

"The games are getting more challenging as the Gamers grew stronger" Alex can help say to himself and closed his eyes.

Alex 2nd was silently watching in the corner it was known what was going on in his head.

Mark and Sarah their parents were stopped watching the Desire Gamer broadcast and went to their room.

Of course, Alex notice it but he did not mind it.

"Ahh! Puff!" Xela was trying to stabilize his breathing as he stared at his opponent across from him.

"You are too stubborn! Why not die?" a thin man said with deformation on his face.

The thin man had an extra ear on his head and a rat tail.

Xela cant help felt disgusted with the person in front of him.

What the f*ck this person won't mind to transform themselves into his monstrosity just to satisfy their greed" Xela can help wonder himself.

What Xela did not notice was that Alex notice who was watching outside.

This opponent was controlled by its skills that were out of control.

These skills give birth to their minds and corrupt that user.

So not all the Xela opponents that were demonized were due to their greed but it was the cause of their careless news not to notice that there was something wrong with their skills.

"Skills are from our desires. Dont tell me our skills had desires too. This is more complicated as I imagine" Alex can't help said as he realized.

"I need to research our skills effects and check if it had already had a personality" Alex decided to be careful to use his skills as promised to warn Xela and M-Sage about it.

It was not clear what was the cause why the skills give birth to a personality and rebel against his owner.

But it was alarming for Alex and Xela who had skills that complemented each other.

The thin man looks confused and can't accept the fact he just died like that.

The thin man's body exploded. And his body was scattered in the air and then fell to the ground.
