The elf sat on his lap while complaining about her misfortune during the past few days. "And after those disgusting frogs , we finally have enough gold to invest for our group!" Seeing that Nodus was carefully listening to their childish friend , Lili and Cucu chuckled as they gathered around her. "I am sorry Nodus.." Cucu apologized for Amy as they helped him up. "It's fine , you can all get a unit box for free , but I also have another deal for everyone. Amy was already jumping in joy as she held the young Neih hands , waving it up and down. "Nodus , I can't thank you enough.... For the deal , we shall accept it no matter what."

Lili who unconditioanlly became the leader of the group took a step forward and stood in front of the young man. "Are you sure? It will involve you being under my new mercenary group." Lili and Cucu looked at each other and responded to Nodus with a slight nod. "I am sure.. I.. we will need a little more details.." The young man led the group of elves down to the basement with Shishi who followed behind.

Nodus went down the entire staircase set , skipping the first door and opened the door for the second level. Standing in front of the door , the group noticed a huge green hill that curved downward and a set of stone steps leading down to the forest. "Wow... Is humongous.." The group of elf and Shishi were surprised when they saw thousands of tall trees in the forest.

"If you manage to train here for one month , not only you will get gold , strength , you will also get freedom and the only thing I ask of you is to protect this store and maybe some minor task." The young man explained the elves as he led them down toward the forest. Following the grass path that was voided of trees , the group quickly arrived at the center of the field where the slaves were sleeping.

Evelyn who heard some footsteps quickly stood up and stared at the path between the trees. Seeing the young man , Evelyn quickly ran and dropped on one knee. "Commander!" The shout woke up the rest of the slaves and they hurriedly gathered in front of Nodus. "Stand , I am here with my friends." The young man turned around and looked at Lili . "Mhmm.. I would like to accept it but.. it would benefit us more than you Nodus." With a faint smile , Nodus held out his hand. "Then it's decided , a month later I will give you a new set of armor and you will represent my brand when you do your missions." Lili did not want to turn her back on him and shook his hand. "Thank you so much Nodus.."

The young man nodded and turned around. "They will belong to another entire squad so , Evelyn , you are still the captain of your group." Evelyn acknowledged with her hand on her forehead as she stood straight like a soldier. 'Bu One even showed them the basic stance..' Thinking about all the good additional things and detail that the android added , Nodus was glad that he took him out of the storage even if it costed him some pure energy.

After looking around on the empty field , Nodus called Bu One and made him build 2 wooden house. The house only had one floor and contained many bunk beds with a big empty space in the room. "Tomorrow morning Bu One will show you the training schedule and I will also come by at night." Lili and her friends didn't leave anything behind at the inn so they decided to stay in these soft beds. Looking at the excited Amy , Evelyn had a skeptical expression and simply went inside the wooden house without greeting Lili and co.

"They are slaves right?" Neih who was quiet most of the times tugged on Lili arm as they entered the wooden house. "Mhmm.. It seems like Nodus trust us.. we must not let him down." Lili and Cucu could figured out that the young man probably bought some slaves because they couldn't betray him so it made them happy that the young man trusted them enough to bring them here. "Mhmm.. Luckily you just broke through the beginner ranks , with your spells more effective now I doubt we will lose to them in this training session." Cucu smiled and went to bed along with of her friends as they quickly felt asleep after a long day.

"In a week , bring out the first batch of skeleton suits but before that , make sure the suit contain less than 10% flaws." The young man ordered the robust butler to switch is main focus onto devopling the squad as Sasha was on 30 hours a day on guard. "Yes Commander , I shall make it flawless." Nodus nodded as he left the store that was still crowded with around 20 people. Walking out of the most popular district , he could barely see anyone who was out at this times and as he left the street , Nodus could detect 2 presence who were tailing him from the shadows. 'So they followed me out of the street..' With a faint evil smirk , Nodus went into a small dark alley in between the stone houses. "Come out."

A cloaked person slowly emerged from the shadow in front of him as the moonlight reflected his face , the cloaked person had a pair of distinctive red eyes. Tilting his head slightly to the side , the person behind him also wore the same clothes with a silver mask covering his entire face but only had a single red eye. "We know you are friends with the owner , tell us what is behind that door." The man with the mask spoke as he slowly approached Nodus. With the only two escape path blocked , the man was taking his sweet times as he thought he was giving the young man pressure.

Nodus lifted his palm toward the person in front of him and after a few seconds , nothing happened. 'Ah right , I forgot.' The man with two red eyes flinched but quickly recovered when nothing happened. "Hahaha , too nervous to cast your spells?.. Even if you could , what can you do.. judging by your looks.. you can most only be a peak beginner magician.." The silver man spoke once again while the one infront remained quiet. 'Looks..' The eye of the young man twitched as he abruptly turned around and stomped on the ground. Leaving behind a hole in the stone road , Nodus arrived at the silver mask and slapped his face. Paa , the silver warrior was sent flying onto the building. Boooom , crushed onto the wall , the man limbs were trembling as he slowly tried to climb up from the hole in the wall. "Gahh!" Before he could even lift his arm , Nodus dashed into the hole and crushed his legs with two merciless stomp.

"You called me young didn't you." With another stomp , Nodus broke all four of his limbs and left the hole only to see the other one has already disappeared from his original position. "Hmmp." Jumped up the alley , Nodus landed on the roof and stared at the cloaked man who held two magic graph on his palms. 'Dark magic , Death Spears!' Multiple sharp pillars stretched from the black magic graph and flew toward Nodus like a flying arrow. Seeing a element he have yet to hear about , Nodus carefully side stepped and appeared onto another roof. The red eyed magician rotated his palms , steering the pillars toward Nodus once again. Dodging the persistence spell , Nodus ended up further and further. 'Almost 100 meters apart.. what kind of spell is this..' Looking at the caster , Nodus black pupil constricted as it became smaller as his golden eyes got bigger with four faint straight lines appearing on each side. The eye now looked like a cross air as it zoomed into the magician. 'I understand now.'

Nodus saw the face of the man covered with sweat and with the sweat surrounding his eye , he could barely keep it open. 'He is constantly providing mana into the spell.' Seeing that his spell could barely keep up with the young man who is supposedly a magician , the dark spears vanished as the caster turned around to escape. 'Must update the Intel.' Pss , before he could even step forward , his leg was punctured by a small black light , causing him to slip off the roof and felt into the dark alley. With his sniper retracting into a rectangle handle , Nodus hung it back onto his belt and quickly made his way into the dark alley. 'Z1 did a good adjustment.'

With his legs broken and face covered in blood , the caster trembled in fear as he look at the young man who landed on the ground like a feather. 'That was at least a 12 meters drop!' Standing in front of the caster , Nodus revealed a evil grin underneath his pointy hat. "Are you going to tell me or.." The caster laughed with despair as he look at the monster warrior in a magician robe."Guahahaha..I will lose my life If I tell you so why wou-! Kuuuhawg" With the black sword , Nodus sliced half of his mouth opened and pointed at the upper half of the head. "Scan the brain , I want the important information by tomorrow." With the black wires from his watch , it penetrated through his skull and melted the brain into the cable. "Age 44 , 4.4 hours to analyze." With the blade special coating , Nodus didn't even had to wipe the blood off as he could just leave it to gravity to do his work. "Hmmp if I didn't seal my power I could just pull a string of his muscle one by one.. No one could resist that pain." With a confident nod , the young man threw the masked man onto the alley and fixed the gap on the wall like every normal person..."Hmmp sorry wall , I will fix you right away." Leaving the masked man alive , Nodus went back to the mansion and arrived without any encounter this times.
