Into The Dream

Surrounded by white walls and dozen of futuristic equipment, Nodus reassured the young girl as he told her to lay down on the bed and close her eyes.

"Don't worry, I will be there with you."

Seeing the Nodus was also laying down on a small bed beside her made the young girl feel better.

The two bed was separated, but the two pillows were connected to each other with a black wire that had multiple robust light indicators.

Soon the room within the White Jade began to release a scented aroma that smelled like a pile of flowers.

Lulu felt asleep as soon the sweet scent went into her nose and saw herself standing in a dark room all by herself.

Before she could think of anything, she felt a hand grasped on her own and realized that Nodus was standing right beside her.

"Big brother???"

"I told you that I will be with you."

Lulu was extremely confused and before she could question the young man, the darkroom transformed into the scene of her and her parents that passed by the old lady who was spouting nonsense.

"Thi-This is it!"

Lulu looked around and noticed that she was standing in mid-air, invisible to everyone as the scene moved automatically with her past self.

"I separated your conscious away from your brain."

Lulu tilted her head and nodded merely in reply even though she did not understand a single thing he said.

The dream went along precisely like how she described on the cliff and arrived at the death scene before long.

"You...Are..."

But this times, instead of looking at her past self, the grandma was staring up the sky and straight at them before passing away.

Lulu felt frightened and took cover behind the young man who was squinting his eyes toward the old lady.

'Have I seen her before...?'

The dream did not let the young man ponder for long as it switched to an utterly blurry scene.

It was the scene of the ocean and the mist that Lulu was talking about.

The reason why it was blurry at first was because they were surrounded by a group of clouds that quickly moved away from them.

"I would usually wake up after the gap here is open."

Nodus switched his vision from the clouds behind them and looked at the tall wall of mist that Lulu was pointing at.

When he looked all the way toward the top, he couldn't even see the end of it and started to doubt the initial orbital scan before he crash-landed on the planet, but with little times, Nodus decided to think about it later and looked around for more clues.

To his surprise, the shrouded walls of cloud even extended down the ocean and went straight into the abyss of the dark sea.

"It's opening big brother!"

Lulu held tightly onto his arm as she hid behind him with her eyes closed.

The young man stretched open his round eyes as he tried to imprint the upcoming scene into his head.

Lulu and Nodus woke up at the same times on the bed as they returned to reality.

"I-...I don't feel anything?"

Lulu woke up usually and did not feel even a hint of discomfort or tiredness like who just woke up from their sleep.

The young girl turned her head around and saw Nodus looking at her with a suspicious look.

"I think I know the problem."

The young man stood up and held on the young girl hand before driving back home in a hurry.

In the last moment, he saw a golden scale with lines that folded like a piece of armor but most importantly, he saw millions of tiny dots behind the level that belonged to some kind of naval transport.

Without any hesitation, the young man embarked into the airplane with Lulu and soared into the sky as they headed straight to the closest beach of the continent.

While Lulu was surprised about the invisible airplane, Nodus was quickly typing onto his hologram keyboard that revealed a big red button.

"AI weapons unlocked and ready."

The sound of Z1 resounded in the airplane before it accelerated even faster across the ocean.
