Game Over
"The more time we waste, the more vulnerable we are," Artemis argued. "You know… he may have… like… reinforcement coming to help him?"
Serena stayed her ground, vehemently refusing.
"You are the one with the higher strength and speed of the both of us. Hell, you might even dodge the bullet," the Ebony Ice Empress debated.
Artemis lowered her head and released a sigh.
It was obvious there was no getting through to Serena and now she had to rely on Serena to execute an attack while she sacrificed herself to the unknown sniper.
Unfortunately, that was not how she had envisioned things turning out.
According to the plan that Artemis had in mind, she had wanted Serena to play the pawn to distract the sniper while she went for the attack since she was physically stronger and faster.
But Serena wasn't seeing it that way at all.
Artemis narrowed her eyes at Serena and reacted grudgingly. "Fine. I will do it," she said with an angry tone.
