012- Getting Ready For Tryouts.

SEPTEMBER 12 2001[Thursday].

Some conversations could be heard in a very spacious gym. The gym was really big with the latest equipments available and the lighting was superb as well, with a very clean Olympic level pool situated inside with a mini track around it. Inside was a man who appears to be a physical trainer instructing denim who seemed already tired and was struggling to do one more round of the yoga pose which appears to be hattha yoga accompanied by sit ups by the way.

Denim was now probably 6'5 with a lean but perfectly athletic build and well done taper fade cut. His caramel colored skin was now astonishingly beautiful and he was basically handsome enough to model at the highest level of it.

" 12 more times den...let's go"

" don't be a pussy man c'mon let's do this" A man In a sports wear screamed

" ah Phil I'll probably die if I try this thing one more time... nah bro"

" c'mon bro it's a test of resilience"

" if I were a resilient person I wouldn't have left school"

" but you love football " Phil retorted

" yo....this ain't no football this shit is torture....aiit lemme do it but remember I've got tryouts coming so ain't no problem with resting at times right"

" talking about tryouts Should we go to the pitch, let's tryout your setpieces I'll be your keeper" Phil replied

"Um nah I think You're a bad keeper"

"I'm not the bad one lad you're the freakishly good one, I wish my son was this talented"

" cmon there's got to be something he's good at"

" constantly getting rejected might count"

" Nah bro can't even pick girls that's worse"

" not as if you can" Another voice came from outside

" Alicia cease thy prattle....I'm but a dedicated sportsman okay not a playboy. Where is Alana I haven't seen her around since yesterday"

"Probably went out with her boyfriend....what's the deal, you miss her?"

"Nah I just noticed that the place was a lil bit quiet"

" I heard that" Alana who just came in said tiredly.

" why do you keep showing on and off like that, i bet you can spawn or something"

"Oh shut the hell up okay, I'm soo tired I'll deal with you when I get some sleep"

" hehe it's morning and....she's tired...sensational"

"Shut up, I swear down you're dead, if I get ya"

" interesting"

"Yo den stop the gossip and let's get to the pitch" Phil bellowed

A few hours later both of them were seen laying on the pitch, breathing heavily with their clothes wet and reeking of sweat.

" you know you're an illogical person right, it's like the more I throw at you the more you can take, your physicality is really amazing bruh"

" it's genetics man"

" Nah what I'm saying is different, how are you this way ahead of you. Like bro it's like it's your age is trying to catch up. You're very illogical in every sense of it. The way you pose yourself, your charisma and wealth is very impressive even for a man in his late 20s"

" um...thanks for the compliments...I guess and yeah are you following away to my first club if I get a deal?"

" Nah bro I've got a family out here"

" I guess my days with you are numbered then"

" Yeah and I won't be around until after your tryouts, I think you have to rest properly before then. Plus I'm sure you'll do well matter of fact look at you all relaxed I'm sure you're not even nervous or anything "

" I mean it's just tryouts right" den replied

" see that's what I'm talking about...as much as I love your confidence, make sure you do your best lad you've got to impress the scouts. I'm sure they'll scramble for you by the way"

" I hear you Phil, you gon stay around for food?"

" nah I have to move around"

" Okay man I appreciate, I'll transfer your remaining fees"

" Okay boss, make sure you show them who's the boss on Saturday"

" Alright Phil convey my greetings to your son, tell him to come around if he wants to learn how to get them girls"

" Nah I'd rather he focus on his books" he said from a distance before walking off.

Denim got off the pitch and went inside the gym and dove straight into the pool with his thoughts scattered. 3 years had passed since he'd come here and he had amassed around 40 million dollars in investments in certain companies that are recommended by his financial advisor and mostly through betting at times as unlike the 2000s he wasn't well informed of events in the 90s but he kept all the work in the hands of his uncle g and the firm's financial advisor whom his uncle had hired mainly because as football player doubted he would have enough time to tend to the affairs of the company.

The next hurdle are the tryouts and after that trying to settle in a new environment most likely in a new country. He look around and took a good look at all his wealth was able to afford him and he felt happy, money had helped his training and he was able to provide for himself and for the few people around but he felt that at the end of the day money was no longer his problem, building a legacy was.

He wanted to be the best, he wanted to go futher than he did in his past life and leave a legacy that would last for generations to come.

Suddenly a tupac song played out from his pockets and realizing it was his ring tone he swarm to the edge of the pool to pick the call.

" Hey denim"

" Hey Uncle how's business"

"Smooth but still we got some issues and I'd require your opinions "

" what's the problem uncle"

" you see den the issue is our headquarters is kind of not fit for the sports agency that you're proposing, the Hollywood agency and the production companies are almost done and is looking promising as well as the record label. The investment company also has no problems with being situated here New York city but the footballing agency is quite different, we'll probably have to move to the uk for that"

"Yeah uncle I understand you, America is not exactly a football (soccer) dominant country but I don't see this as a problem that requires my intervention"

"Denim don't be like this, we need to move out to be uk and I need to know your plans about that okay. You can't just relegate all the problems and decision making to me it doesn't work like that "

" Fair enough, how about we register a parent company that takes care of football related businesses in the uk and detach it from our headquarters here in the America How's your thoughts about that"

" Oh so you want to take the environment specific business approach that's a nice one. I was faintly thinking of that but at the end of the day I'll still have to get your opinion"

" now that you've gotten it uncle we have to be fast about everything there are some good player with nice potentials and future prospects that I have privy to and they must not slip through the cracks of our hands"

" Alright I'll set sail immediately it shouldn't take long to set up a company in London but our current assets will take a hit"

" That doesn't matter uncle just make sure we are up and running in uk as soon as possible"

" Alright den don't worry I'll get it done and yeah lemme pick you up on your way to the tryouts location on Saturday so we can catch up along the way"

" Okay then I'll wait for you but the tryouts are starting very early are you sure you'd be available"

" that's not a problem den"

"Okay Uncle extend my greetings to Patricia and junior as well"

After speaking I ended the call and sighed, if my uncle had shown really jarring opposition to my instructions or is uncomfortable with my authoritative stance towards the company he might have really been sacked, having one's relative especially elderly ones in charge of your financial affairs is not without it's downsides but thank God he understands as that would save alot of trouble.
