Two Different Agendas
Dean picked up his car in the underground parking lot of Almara Island commercial area between the dormitory and the school. It was also a Tahoe, just like Adams' car. However, it was even a way older model than the previous car, probably before 2100.
Dean entered the driver's seat. On the passenger seat of the car, there was an empty coffee cup. Dean looked at the coffee cup, and it felt heavy. Dean opened the cup and looked at its content. Inside of it was a smartphone. Dean was under the strict order not to bring anything digital with him to Almara AFB. No watch, no phone, etc.
'Damn, who would have thought he would give me a burner."
Dean put his finger on top of the screen to activate its fingerprint scanner. The phone opened and Dean looked at the list of text messages that came into that phone. Two of them were from Gardner, one from Adams, while the other was from Captain Luhzard. Damn, it looked like they were giving attention to Dean.
