Gaofeng made Shen Hai bring along the rest of his entourage while flying, as Gaofeng's cultivation didn't yet allow him to bring along many others in the air. After handing this responsibility over to Shen Hai, Gaofeng spread his powerful wings and shot into the air.
He soon arrived at the 10th peak of the Holy Temple. Spreading his aura, an intense feeling of oppression covered the entire mountain peak. The princes and princesses inside were all completely stifled by this fierce might which pressed down upon them, and weren't even able to move.
"You all belong to me from this day henceforth. Your kingdoms also belong to me, Shangsheng Gaofeng. You are to send this message to your respective parents and I will await their quick surrender. If they dare to contact the Long Empire, or any other forces, about me becoming the new overlord of your kingdoms, I will kill them all without mercy. I assure you that even your greatest ancestors who remain alive cannot contend against my power, and attempting to do so will only lead to their downfall. I am the future Clan Leader of the Shangsheng family, and if they willingly submit to me, then they will receive great fortune in the coming years." Gaofeng's voice echoed throughout the entire mountain, informing the young rulers about their current circumstances.
After he had relayed this message, Shen Hai arrived with the rest of his entourage. "Arrange them quarters and then summon all of the elders of the Holy Temple to the Grand Hall." Gaofeng ordered Shen Hai with a stern tone. Shen Hai had no choice but to acquiesce, and he went inside the temple to deal with the matters tasked to him by Gaofeng.
In the meanwhile, Gaofeng sat down on the Meditation Mat, which he had placed underneath the Enlightenment tree to cultivate. He hadn't raised his cultivation in quite a while, and he figured that it was time to begin focusing primarily on his cultivation. All of his other aspects had already reached a very high grade, and only his cultivation was lacking behind.
Gaofeng had long since reached the peak of the first layer of the Qi-gathering realm, and so he quite easily broke through to the second layer of the Qi-gathering realm merely by revolving the Divine Myriad Changes one time. There was no real requirement for enlightenment or comprehension of the Dao to break through in the earlier stages of cultivation.
It was only when breaking through to the next realm that comprehension was truly required. This continues until the later realms, when the comprehension of the Dao becomes the main focus while the gathering and purification of Qi becomes secondary.
Since Gaofeng had two dantians, he decided to simultaneously break through with both of his dantians. The Primordial Destruction dantian, which formed an unstable black hole, was similarly at the first layer of the Qi-gathering realm, meaning that Gaofeng didn't directly inherit the entire cultivation of the Primordial Yin-Yang Beast.
Gaofeng didn't seem to have inherited the complete comprehension of the Yin-Yang Primordial Destruction Dao from the beast either, as the beast's Dao was not exactly something it had comprehended. It instead relied on its own natural talents and powerful bloodline to strengthen its Dao over time, rather than actually comprehending it. This meant that as long as Gaofeng naturally grew, his acquired bloodline would help his Dao evolve, but that would never truly create a new Grand Dao. Instead, although it would let Gaofeng utilize the Dao, it wouldn't make him the true creator of the new Dao.
This could be likened to the universe letting you borrow its power, compared to you personally wresting away the power yourself and creating your own domain. The universe would never let you borrow too much power, as that could threaten the universe's existence, and thus if Gaofeng wanted to utilize the true potential of the Primordial Destruction Dao, he would have to personally comprehend it.
Gaofeng didn't see this as a problem, however, as he merely considered it to be another aspect of the combination of the Yin and Yang daos, something he already had great achievements in. Due to this, Gaofeng's Primordial Destruction Dantian already contained 10% of completely, unstably, merged Yin and Yang Qi.
The rest of the energy within the Primordial Destruction Dantian was similarly merged Yin and Yang Qi, but the 90% wasn't completely merged and thus couldn't showcase the true power of this Dao.
Gaofeng didn't want too many imbalances in his cultivation, and thus he decided to focus on comprehending the Primordial Destruction Dao for the time being, at least until he achieved 35% true Primordial Destruction Qi within this dantian, the same ratio of his other dantian.
The effect of the Qi-accumulation pill still remained, although it had been greatly siphoned by the Myriad Heart. Having two dantains would certainly make it unable to last as long as it should, but it would greatly boost his Qi for a good while.
After reaching the second layer of the Qi-gathering realm, Gaofeng continuously absorbed the Qi from the remaining energy of the Qi Accumulation Pill to quickly absorb and refine enough Qi to reach the peak of the second layer.
Instead of attempting to break through instantly, Gaofeng decided that the best course of action would be to attempt to purposefully restrict his own advancement. He wanted to continue absorbing Qi and cultivating while remaining in his current layer for as long as possible. The way he would advance would be at the point he no longer could suppress his own cultivation, which meant that at that point he would have already reached the absolute peak of that layer of cultivation.
Gaofeng continued cultivating this way for half a day. He was comprehending the Primordial Destruction Dao while also continuously absorbing and refining Qi without breaking through. His breakthrough to the peak of the second layer of Qi-gathering had already increased his total Qi by onefold compared to the peak of the first layer.
After half a day, Gaofeng could no longer suppress his own cultivation, and he naturally broke through to the third layer of the Qi-gathering realm. This breakthrough again filled Gaofeng with a sense of achievement, but although the amount of Qi he had control over skyrocketed, it was still negligent compared to the power of his physical body.
When Gaofeng broke through to the third layer of the Qi-gathering realm, the amount of Qi his dantian could hold increased once more. Gaofeng had an idea about the regular size of a cultivator's dantian at different realms of cultivation.
His research had told him that someone's dantian at the peak of the first layer of the Qi-gathering realm normally was one diameter across, and that this increased by one meter in diameter for each realm, meaning that it increased to 2 diameters at the second layer. Naturally, this meant that at the ninth layer of Qi-accumulation, a cultivator's dantian would have a diameter of 9 meters.
It might have sounded impossible to contain such a large energy nucleus within the human body, but in reality the dantian space was a vast space separate from the exact physical dimensions of the body, which allowed it to contain dantians far larger than the cultivator themselves.
Compared to a regular person's dantian, however, Gaofeng's dantians were unique to say the least. They had both been formed from the Divine Myriad Changes, which naturally made them the strongest they could be, and the size of his dantians at the peak of the third layer of the Qi-gathering realm had already reached a diameter of 30 meters, a whole ten times the regular diameter.
One couldn't think that this made Gaofeng's dantians a mere ten times larger than normal dantians, because dantians were spheres. This meant that for each increased meter of diameter, the amount of Qi which could fill this space was larger than the previous one.
The volume of a sphere with a diameter of 3m, would have about 14,13m3 of volume, while a sphere with a diameter of 30m would have 14137,16m3. That was already a difference of a thousand times, and that was merely the volume of one of his dantians.
Other geniuses might as well just lie down and give up rather than attempt to go against Gaofeng's inevitable rise. Naturally, these geniuses were far superior to regular cultivators, and would probably have access to high grade cultivation techniques, have powerful physiques and bloodlines, in addition to other great resources. This meant that their dantian wouldn't conform to the norm either. Perhaps their dantian could be fifty percent larger than a regular dantian, or even twice the size, but Gaofeng highly doubted that any other genius on the Atamura continent would have a dantian which could be compared to his own.
He had already considered every genius on the Atamura continent to be beneath his notice. It was only those ancient beings at the peak of this world which could incite his fighting intent. This world would never be his grand stage. It could only serve as a beginning for his ascension to higher worlds, where he hoped he would get a real challenge.
I applogize for the few chapters recently. I haven't been as motivated due to the lack of interaction with my novel. Also, I've been working a bit on another novel. I will try to maintain a regular upload schedule and at least upload one longer chapter every day (about 1500 words) as long as people are still interesteed in reading this novel.
