01 - The Nature of Cultivation (01)

Cultivation is a dangerous process. One might define cultivation as opposing the heavens and achieving immortality through spiritual power. This is primarily true of mortals who wish to gain the power of immortals and transcend their small world. They gather Spiritual Energy into their souls so that one day, it may overflow and completely remake them.

As you ascend through the Mortal Orders, there are no major differences, except for the quantity and density of Spiritual Energy. Contrary to popular beliefs, the numerous realms, including the Heavenly and Infernal, must also surpass the Mortal Orders. The only differences are the materials and quantity of prodigies; meaning that more people can go further.

Over hundreds of years, the realms have lost contact with each other and this has caused the stagnation of cultivation in every realm except Heaven. This is due to their bountiful resources and oversight by the omnipotent 'God'. His name has long been forgotten and he is now called by his rank of heavenly cultivation.

As stated previously, one must gather Spiritual Energy into their soul to advance in cultivation. Each 'Realm': Mortal, Heavenly and [Writing Smudged], have six Orders to them. The Heavenly orders will be mentioned later.

The Mortal Orders, are as follows:

Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Ruby.

Each Mortal Order is further divided into another six Ranks or Levels. In order to progress throughout the Mortal Ranks and Orders, you must absorb Spiritual Energy from the environment, this can be aided by different techniques and resources. The best of these are in the Heavenly Realm.
