Gate of demon cultivation begins

The third spiral or the gate of demon cultivation is what many consider the true start of demonic cultivation.The reason was that cultivation of further spirals will be impossible without the life of a creature with pure vitality.

A creature without pure vitality are living things with none or close to none sentience.The only animal or monster with sentience is monsters with far stronger cultivation you can't beat at that stage.

So one usually had to kill a person to get to the third spiral, the pure vitality is also considered one's soul.I was fine because I stored the soul of the lady I killed when I was a child.

Others also called this the gate of demonic cultivation because it was when you could do rituals which is basically what others called array's.The only downside is that it requires souls which is only available from humans or very strong monsters.

The upside was that rituals had much more strength than arrays as arrays pulled energy from the environment to activate the array, this makes it to not only be weaker but be harder to place as it is harder to place with little environmental qi.

You can think of it as rituals being circuits powered with batteries and arrays solar panel powered circuits, unlike the array circuit even without sun it can work but unlike arrays the ritual circuits will need replacement batteries or souls often.

The final reason it was called the gate of demonic cultivation is because they can finally use demonic energy externally.For example making sword aura or spitting flames out one's hands.

While recalling the reason I was so excited about this spiral I continue towards my after cultivation snack.It was a giant sleeping bear snoring in complete peace not knowing the danger it is in.I see it's eyes slam open when I step one foot closer.

We met eyes and then I swiftly rush towards it while reinforcing my body with demonic energy.The bear tried to get up before I reached it but it wasn't quick or nimble enough and I reached it before it could rise.

I pulled out a kitchen knife and sliced at its neck, but surprisingly the knife didn't reach the carotid artery so the attack wasn't lethal.The bear smashed the side of my body with its claw and I grunted in pain.

After I recover from the pain and loss of breath I quickly aim exactly where I did before and cut its artery the bear started to gurgle on its blood and started slowing down.It took a while but the bear eventually choked to death or bled out, I fall into my cultivation stance and used the bears vitality to heal.

The strike the bear landed was strong and sharp I could feel my ribs being fractured.That vitality was enough to heal and make my third spiral, instantly I felt an exploding amount of power flow through me.I feel a hole get punctured into my dantian and I use soul of the lady I had to fix and strengthen it.

Slowly I felt the aggravation of the spiral get calmer and I could go out of meditation, I go outside and realizing how late it's gotten I rush back to the orphanage.I also use this chance to test some movement techniques since I couldn't use them before and I see my feet becoming a blur and my speed increases drastically.

I can safely say I can move at about the speed of a normal car, I reach the orphanage soon and breath in deeply in preparation before opening the doors."Lou Zou! Where have you been young man!" I instantly hear a screech comparable only to the greatest sound techniques from the demonic clan.

When I look to the source I see a woman with a apron and a ladle with her hands on her hips.Her dirt blonde hair and blue eyes stared at me with anger, she had a ample breast and hip size and white skin.

"I went to the park for some air." I said before rushing to my room to end the conversation."Uh uh you aren't getting out of this that easily!" She said before grabbing my ear "What do I have to say to get out of this then?" I asked to hurry up this conversation.

"The truth!" She said with a pout "I went out and found a bear in a cave and killed it." I said bluntly "I don't want to hear your back talk young man." She said while pulling my ear harder even if I have a strong body it was starting to get uncomfortable.

"I went out on a date." I was willing to say anything to end this useless conversation "you were able to get a date with that personality?" She said with genuine surprise, my eyes twitched "Yes, now can I go?"

"Fine, but make sure to tell me when your going to be out late, I was worried you know?" She said while letting go of my ears "sure" I responded quickly while leaving.

In the hallway to my room I saw two twins waiting in front of my bedroom door.'Oh no not these two again' I thought with an aggrieved expression on my face.one of the twins with lavender colored hair tied into a high ponytail noticed me and ran towards me.

She was my age and had glowing purple eyes with pale skin "Lou! Where were you?" She asked with a huge smile on her face "On a date Lia" I said hoping she would leave me alone her face became scary for a second before she smiled again.

"Really!? With who?!" She asked with a slight bloodlust in her tone "Nona" I said "Nona who's that?" She asked with a confused face "Nona your business" I said while walking past her.

'Please not another one' I thought seeing her twin look at me "He-hello Lou" she said with a shy smile on her face.She was the exact same as her twin except she had twin tails and had a shy smile on her face.

"Hello Mia could I get in my room?" I asked knowing she wasn't as annoying as her twin " Ah! I'm sorry Lou!" She said while moving to the side "It's fine" I said while going into my room and closing the door.

'Sigh finally I can breathe' i thought while flopping onto my bed.I suddenly remembered the girl with black hair at my school many would say I overreacted and I would agree if I didn't notice her eyes.She had the eyes of a woman I remembered from the past a woman that was even more insane than me I knew she wouldn't listen to my demand if I just told her.

If anything she would just stalk me better, even with what I did I'm sure she will come back thats what her eyes told me at least.I should really look into why every woman I meet is strange in some way I thought while beginning to sleep.
