Chapter 7 : Su Ling
" The Air is so pure " Coming out of his palace , Su Yang takes a deep breath feeling the purity in the surrounding environment. The reason for which is clearly the pure energy and qi flowing in every part of this world. The other one is they lack the pollution caused by human activities from the previous life otherwise the tales of cultivation will not be a mere legend but the reality like this one .
Soon moving towards the Emperor palace he was followed by Wang Wu and a few loyal guards and protectors from the Imperial 'Long' family.
When Su Yang came to the hall belonging to his father's palace , he was greeted by long rows of servants and guards . Bending on their knees they gave him the congratulation of his coming of age . In response to which he too gave a nod , making the people present a little stunt as they have never seen his face with so much complexion before .He seems to be happy yet he is very angry .
Ignoring the other' people's curious gazes , he moved towards the centre hall where the main banquet is going to be held while the outer ball is reserved for some lower clans and individuals with no great authority.
Coming to the centre hall , he found two people sitting on the main seat . The appearance is obviously hidden by a layer of fog covering everything about them including the cultivation. Sitting on the high throne their aura is like an infinite mountain if not restrained it might cause a lot of blood mist with the gaze alone .
The identity to sit on the main seat is not low but they are the current heads of the Su family and the couple ruling the Northern Region , His parents. Even compared to elders sitting with them they aren't weak but slightly stronger with a cultivation base in mid levels of 'Emperor Realm'.
More importantly, They aren't some old Fossils with a heir in late years but only a little over 3000 years in age . Though the reason why they married only a little while ago is an old love story of two enemy region's heir who managed to get together only after several centuries of struggles and hard times .
The people sitting on the seat next to them are the Clan Elders and Official in the court each with a cultivation base above the Sage Ranks . Otherwise normal people can only be corpses with their touch alone . This is also one of the main reasons they let Su Yang cultivate as early as he could because below a certain level in the strength even his soul would be crushed if they are too careless when restraining their aura .
" I have seen My Lord Father , Mother and Elders "
The Elders listening to his respectful greetings were a little surprised as Su Yang has never bother to give them a polite greeting other than asking for advice in the cultivation . They don't know if the Sun is coming from the wrong direction or he has been feed up with some strange medicine. Otherwise why his face has a look of annoyance for the first time yet the salute is so polite.
" Crown Prince seem to have broken through Spirit Formation realm . Could the change be related to this breakthrough in cultivation?? "
" Indeed , there are rare cases of Personality modification when trying to form the soul entity . "
" Maybe , The change in our case is for the better . He seems to have become more human than his Cultivation frenzy self. "

The couple raises their eyebrows listening to the Elders talk . Holding their forehead they take a helpless sigh before waving their hands to ask some time alone with Su Yang .
"*Ahem , I think we should talk about this later . The Guest are already on our door steps , you go down and welcome them. " Su Hao said from the main seat .
The Elders too complied with the orders and left in a hurry . After the elders left , Long Yue waves her slender hands in a unhurriedly manner and in an instant a transparent dome secluding them from the other apparently appeared.
Looking at Su Yang with complicated expressions in front of her , it is natural she can feel a wave of mixed emotions inside him.
Though for the first time , her son has started to show his human side but the experience doesn't seem to be pleasant.
" Son , Are you alright?? " Long Yue asked with a guess she wants to be true but false at the same time.
" I Am alright, Mom " Su Yang tried to said in a relief tone .
" I will not feel rest assured if you talk like this . Tell us the reason otherwise your mother will nag me for the whole day on how It's is my fault that our little prince is not happy at all. " Su Hao asked with some teasing . It's just not known if he is actually worried about his son or wife's bad mood .
" It's just some sequel of the sudden breakthrough nothing else .." Su Yang finds a reason at random which seems pretty excusable about his sudden changes.
" Well , If you say so ." Su Hao said in a relief. It seems the matter is not as serious as he thinks .
" Son , Do You know about Ling Yun's secret realms exploration with Su Chen ??"
" Should we divorce you before killing her or You want her all clansmen to follow the after life at the same time ?? "
" Or do you want that Su Chen and his alliance to suffer first from a 'tragic night' ?? Tell me , If you any wishes to be fulfilled I am not going to back down even in the slightest "
Listening to the planning his mother has just made , Su Yang and his father were both left dumbfounded.
It is indeed a little troublesome to deal with the Ling family but not too much. However, the cause of the matter can't be a break of engagement... But to think the next ruler is snatched of his woman is also not an honorable thing either . So, following his mother/wife's should we destroy a whole major clan just like that ??
' It's no wonder I am a villain with such Dominering mother it would be strange if I don't suffer from 'I am Invincible' & 'Do You know My family? ' syndromes . ' Su Yang can only shiver on the thought of his future while blindly following his mother's advice . There is a limit to the arrogance one can have but she doesn't have any .
" Mom , leave this matter to me . You and Dad don't have to interfere in it , I will solve it all by myself."
" Are You sure ?? " Long Yue didn't refute him but asked again if he is in his right state of mind for making a correct decision.
" I am ." Su Yang raised his right fist on top of his chest and said in a serious manner . Who knows if he being a little unsure will make him unable to mobilise the maximum resources while dealing with a Protagonist.
" Okay if you have any problems , You can always rely on me " Su Hao said with some encouragement. But he failed to notice he is actually asking his younger son to beat the hall out of his older one. Maybe the word came out in a flow only to please his dear wife
" Alright.." Su Yang gave another bow before his parents removed the shield surrounding them.
' Having a mom and Dad doesn't seems that bad either ' Su Yang thought of all the sweetness he got to taste since his reincarnation. From childhood to coming of age , he has grown up under his mother's shadow .
It is even rumored that Long Yue is a person without any emotions and her love story is also a random scam circulating in the entire Human Realm but he knows very well those rumors are half true and half false . She doesn't have any emotions with regards to an outsider but when the target is her family, especially her son , Su Yang . She is a crazy and fierce dragon who might battle the heavens all by her self .
However, when Su Yang was busy thinking of the pleasant realitionship with his parents, a heavy voice sounded in all of the Su Family clan Land .
" Long Kong From Long Family is here !!"
Long family as the maternal guardian of Su Yang were the first one to report on his birthday even a week before in order to not miss the timing of banquet which is unconventionally reduced to a few hours from the weeks worth of time .

The voice didn't stop but kept informing of the special guests arrival in the hall . Which is nevertheless without a doubt are all the patriarch of the three major and several First tired and second tiers clan .
" Patriarch Ye , You are a little too quick aren't you ?? " Chu Xuan said in a strange tone when meeting his old rivals on the entrance of the hall . After all, as the cousin in law of the current Emperor and soon to be 'father in law' of the crown prince, he should be the first one to arrive at the banquet hall but missed the timing by a little from these two old foxes.

The other two patriarchs listening to his claims can't help but frown .This is the best shameless card they have seen somebody throwing so far .After all, unlike the two patriarchs he doesn't have a daughter to be betrothed to the next Emperor . The son too is a waste leaving him no choice but to rely on his sister and her step child ( Su Yang )for the family's Survival.
Ling Kung listening to the rivalry between the two parties wanted to interfere a little . But remembering the problems his daughter has caused might made him the biggest joke in the region after tonight . He chose to shut up his damn mouth .
However, Looking at a figure closeby his face has a rare touch of warmth. After all this is his own niece, the daughter of Ling Xue and Emperor Su Hao and the second most talented of the royal children.
" Princess Su Ling from the Su Family is here to congratulate His majesty the Crown Prince. "
Soon a girl about the age 22/23 entered the hall. She has sapphire eyes and long blue hair . The figure is almost reaching the perfection with her slender waist and not too plump nor too thin body . Her facial features are quite exquisite with thin nose , juicy lips and sword eyebrows . There is even a blue Lotus mark on her forehead. And in the white robes she entered the hall , she doesn't look less than an Immortal banished to the mortal world with not a single particle of dust being capable of affecting her beauty.
She is the eldest children Emperor Su Hao had and with relationship to Su Yang , she is his eldest sister. Princess Su Ling , Her name too is taken from the two families surname showing the closeness the clan has since ages which might be repeated in the next generation if not for Ling Kung's daughter being a little fool.
Seeing almost every one important has arrived in the hall including the royal family members , The speaker wanted to leave with a graceful bowed gesture .
However, at this moment a cold shout was heard in the hall stopping every one to wish the congratulatory to the crown prince .
