Chapter 10 : Bet

Su Yang and his family were enjoying the feast on the main table made of pure white divine jade. The main seat is already occupied by the Emperor couple while Su Yang is sitting right next to his mother with his sister . Even the head of three clans are on this table on the side his father was sitting on.

" Little Nephew.. This is what your uncle has brought you over as the coronation present for the coming of age ceremony " Ye Qian didn't let go of his thick skin behaviour but with the wave of his hand a purple bracelet was given to Su Yang's maid on the side .

After all other than some important people, the rest of the congratulatory gifts will be collected by a servant when they enter the hall and with Ye Qian's status it is natural that he will give it to Su Yang with his own hands .

Long Yue giving a look at the bracelet nodded in approval. Fortunately , unlike his thick skinned self , the gift given is pretty generous as a protective treasure that can hold against the attack of a middle level sage up to five times in a row .

Though it is not that high valued in both 'Long' & 'Su' families but for a clan that is always in the midst of up and down in ranks it is the real bloody money they have spent so far .

" Thank you Uncle Ye " Seeing his mother winking him to put some sweetness on this old dog . Su Yang thanked him in a very happy tone.

Almost all of the Su Family members felt annoyed and angry from his words. Whether they like Su Yang or not is another matter but others disrespecting him after the coronation is something they can't tolerate.
