It has been a couple days since he dragged the noble to the forest to suffer the same fate as the one before him and now Tenshi continued his journey immediately and finally arrived at his destination.

Mount Yoko!

'I finally arrived!'

Tenshi slowly climbed up Mount Yoko with much difficulty. Not giving up despite the exhaustion and fatigue Tenshi was currently experiencing, he continued to climb for hours.

"Ugh, almost there." Not long after, Tenshi finally climbed to the top and saw a cottage on top with flowers and plants all planted around. It was a beautiful sight.

Tenshi collapsed on the floor while breathing heavily and closed his eyes for a little.

He heard the door open and the sound of footsteps echo but his consciousness was slowly fading.

"You finally arrived. I have been waiting for you, Tenshi Yoru."

After hearing the words the person said, his eyes closed and faded into a deep sleep.

The person brought Tenshi to their cottage and gently laid him on the bed and silently waited in a chair staring.

A couple hours later, Tenshi's eyes twitched and his eyelids slowly opened. The drowsily sat up and looked around. Once everything that happened came back to his head, he calmly stayed still and asked, "Who are you?"

The man in front of Tenshi looked like an old sage. He was an old man with long white, silky hair that flowed to his waist, and white mustache and beard that dropped down to his belly button.

The old man was wearing a white kimono and he had a homey and peaceful presence around him that made you feel like he is your dear family.

The old man smiled at Tenshi's question but didn't answer, "The Star Child. Not just a Star Child but also the strongest one ...." The old man paused before standing up walking to get a cup of tea.

"… well not yet I guess."

Tenshi didn't understand what he was saying other than the name, Star Child. "You know what a Star Child is?"

Despite what he got from Ginga, he wanted to know more.

The old man didn't answer and continued to make his tea. Tenshi decided to wait patiently and not push for answers since he believed he would eventually get them.

The old man walked back and served him the tea before answering Tenshi's previous question.

"A Star child, blessed by humanity with fortune and destined to save the world, blah blah. That is the answer you got from Ginga, yes?"

"Uh—about, I guess." The answer just garnered even more questions for Tenshi but he decided to take them down one by one instead of quitting in the middle.

"Well, she isn't wrong but it is not the whole explanation, after all, the whole explanation doesn't exist. Though, I can give you my explanation."

Tenshi nodded and listened as if he was a child listening to the story of how his parents met.

"Everyone is different, just like the Star Mark that is on your shoulder that you are covering. Each one comes with different blessings, some good, some bad.

"Ginga for example, her Star Mark was a healing mark. Not really a big impact. It just gave her more knowledge and talent in medicine. After all, healing has multiple branches of Marks."

"What about mind?" Tenshi's eyes unconsciously went to his arm and rubbed it.

The old man's eyes glinted mysteriously, "Well, you have the Original Mark. I call it the Origin Mark even though there isn't really a big difference between those names."

"Do you know what blessing I have?"

"No, but since you have the Origin Mark, you are bound to be the strongest."

Tenshi absorbed all the information he had listened to and asked the question he had been meaning to ask.

"How do you know?"

"Know what?" The old man reflected.

"Everything. Ginga, Star marks, and why are you living on top of Mount Yoko? I never heard of anyone living on Mount Yoko. Also, what is your name? You told me things but I don't know anything about you."

The old man chuckled at Tenshi's questions, "My name is Naniyori. The reason I know so much about everything is because I also have a Star Mark, except mine is different. Way different."

Tenshi wasn't surprised but the small amount of knowledge about this world is slowly diminishing as long as he keeps learning about Star Marks and Star Children.

"My Star mark ability is Clairvoyance."

'Clairvoyance?!'

Tenshi was shocked since he knew what Clairvoyance was. "You can see the future?"

Naniyori bitterly smiled, "At the cost of my memories."

Tenshi's excitement was replaced with empathy for the old man.

'To lose my memories of the things that happened in my life is basically an erasure of my personality. The good and the bad is what made me who I am today.'

"It is fine since I experienced different memories about other people. Though it isn't the same."

Tenshi said with much effort, "Do you know my future?"

Naniyori paused, "No, your future is blurred out. Even if I try to see your future through the vision of others, it is still blurred out.

"The future of the people that you are close to are also blurred out. I finally discovered from reading the future of people that aren't acquainted with you that know about the Star marks, that your mark is probably the Origin Mark."

Another question entered Tenshi's mind that he immediately asked, "Then how did you know about Ginga or how I would come here?"

A smirk appeared on Naniyori's wrinkled face.

"I guessed."

'He guessed. Of course! That makes perfect sense!' Tenshi's thoughts were drenched with sarcasm and it seems it showed on his face.

"I'm serious. I met Ginga earlier before you came to the village and had a conversation with her about everything. While you, Someone with the Origin Mark is bound to come to Mount Yoko for the Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore for the purpose of killing demons."

Naniyori just looked at Tenshi like he was dumb while Tenshi didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

'I was never a smart person in the first place!'
