Chapter 10:Parents love

Rui began to be shown his life before he became a demon.

Many years ago, Rui was born into a somewhat wealthy family. He had a weak, frail and easily susceptible human body; even the very act of walking and breathing was difficult for him to perform, which is why he spent most of his life confined to his home under the care of his mother and father, who, despite his weakness, deeply loved and nurtured him.

One night, Rui was approached by Muzan Kibutsuji, who offered to "save" him and transformed the boy into a demon. Now possessing a strong body, Rui was finally able to move freely for the first time. However, that happiness did not last. Now a demon, Rui had to get food by eating people, which then made him kill the man in his house. The bloody scene was discovered by his parents, who were immediately horrified by what their son had done. Later that night, Rui woke up to his father raising a knife to kill him, while his mother sat sobbing.

He mortally wounded them and sat in front of his house, thinking about his actions and theirs. He recalls hearing a story about a man who drowned to save his son and how he was moved by the act of parental love. He concluded that his parents, since they had tried to kill him, were frauds, refusing to believe that they could think of killing him.

However, as his mother lay dying, Rui heard her apologizing for not being able to give him a healthy body, causing him to recall his father's last words, promising that both he and his wife would follow Rui into the afterlife by killing themselves. He realized that his parents truly love him and simply tried to prevent him from becoming a full-blown monster, throwing Rui into emotional turmoil. Muzan appeared shortly after and told the young demon that it was his parents' fault for refusing to accept his new form. Unable to bear the weight of his actions, Rui pushed Muzan's words as the truth and believed them

When his head started to disintegrate he saw himself as a child before he became a demon and he saw his parents who hugged him and said they would go to hell with him

When Rui heard that he started to cry realizing that his people loved him and if he killed them, Rui hugged them and said he loved them as the last tears ran down his face his head and body fell apart

Meanwhile, Enmu said that Rui is finished but that it doesn't even matter because he would definitely die because he is weak, Hiromo is glad that Zenitsu and Inosuke won but he said that he will need their help

Enmu tells Hiromo that he is actually connected to the train and will kill all the people on the train, Hiromo is shocked to realize that he forgot about the people on the train

Hiromo realized this and went towards Enmu and swung his sword at him but Enmu avoided him with his tentacles

Hiromo attacked again and this time Enmu fought back but Hiromo managed to cut off the tentacle he was attacking with

Just when Enmu attacked Hiromo Inosuke cut off his attack and while Zenitsu told him that he will protect the people

Enmu tried to eat people but Zenitsu used thunderclap and flash and went through the train with incredible speed destroying the attacks by Enmu

Enmu couldn't believe it and tried to attack the humans again but Zenitsu got in his way with his incredible speed

Inosuke charged at him using beast breath but Enmu blocked his attack while in the meantime Hiromo used fire breath and cut his attack with ease.

Enmu just laughed sadistically and said that he was glad to be fighting and that he would tell Muzan everything when he returned.

When Hiromo heard that name, he remembered that maybe he really killed his family

Outraged by this possibility, Hiromo attacks him using the Tenth Improvised Form Fire Dragon Triple Attack

With the speed and movement that Enmu only saw through the fog, he noticed that it was now dangerous and he attacks him with more tentacles but Hiromo cuts everything as Enmu says that he feels like he's burning inside

Inosuke couldn't believe it and when he saw that it would reach his head he said that he would cut off his head

Hiromo just looked at him saying that he forgot he had Inosuke and apologized to him for starting to attack like that

Inosuke then uses the Eighth Form Explosive Run and gets to the neck and uses the Fifth Form Palisade Bite bringing both swords to his neck and proceeds to cut him down

But just as he was about to be killed a large tentacle hit both of them and hit the train so hard that the train fell completely off the tracks and Hiromo, Zenitsu and Inosuke fell off the train hitting the floor and damaging their hands that they were holding on to

At that moment Enmu merged with the earth and Inosuke manages to use the seventh form finding the main part that needs to be cut in order to die

Hiromo says they can't do anything because their arms are broken and it's only a matter of time before the enmu attack and kill them

Enmu said that they can't do anything now because in the end they are only human and that at some point they will get tired and die.

Enmu wished them good night and attacked them but at that moment a water attack like attack cut Enmu's head and all his attacks

His head falls to the floor and says he can't die, but when he said that the sun started to rise and he said if the sun kills him then his main body and everything will fall apart Enmu attacks again but the unknown attacker uses fire breathing first form water surface slash and attacks him horizontally and cuts him in a second and at that moment the sun shines on the earth and telling Enmu that this is a nightmare he disintegrates and dies

Hiromo wondered who it was and the unknown person turned around

He said yes, are they okay, Hiromo says they are but asks him his name and he says he will explain everything to him when they arrive

Hiromo started to ask where but he fainted but before he fainted he saw what she looked like

He was a rather tall young man, of slender muscular build and pale complexion, who can almost always be seen with a serious and emotionless expression on his face. He has unruly black hair of uneven length that sticks out in strands around his head, which he wears in a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck. His bangs fall over his eyes in uneven fringes. His eyes are sharp and moderately large, their irises are a deep sapphire color that fades to a lighter blue, and their pupils are bluish-black, and they are framed by thin eyebrows.

wearing a dark blue version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform with a buttoned white kyahan wrapped around his legs and a pair of white zōri with dark blue straps and tabi socks underneath that are the same cyan color as his uniform. Over that, he wore a haori that was split down the middle into two different patterns: the right one was dark red, and the left one was geometric with green, orange, and yellow rhombuses.

After that Hiromo fell unconscious, after a few hours Hiromo slowly opened his eyes wondering where he was

He saw that someone was carrying it and remembered that it was the unknown assailant who had attacked Enma

Hiromo said that from what he heard he uses water breathing and he said he heard about it but he never saw anyone doing it until now

The boy asked Hiromo if he was okay and Hiromo said he was and thanked him because if it wasn't for him he would have died, Hiromo asked him his name and he answered that his name was Giyu Tomioka

Hiromo said he was glad to meet him and asked him where they were going and Giyu replied that they were going to see the master

Hiromo asked who it was but before he expected an answer Giyu told him that they had arrived and to just be quiet.

Hiromo wondered where he was and when he looked ahead he saw people stopping and looking at him and he wondered who they were
