chapter 13

The three ran in the direction of the demon ,stumbling upon a girl from the corps who was being controlled

"No don't come this way, bring someone with a higher rank , if you don't I'll kill them" she said crying while standing next to fallen corps members

then the girl attacked with her sword

Haku:'Fast!' he thought

"I'm being controlled, so my movements are different!, we weren't this strong before!" the girl said while being forced to slash with her sword

then she began moving in ways that broke her bones and attacked Tanjiro

but after Tanjiro dodged, more controlled corps members appeared

they asked the three to kill them and end their misery

Inoske:"Okay! i will!"

then the controlled corps members attacked

Haku:"Inoske! hold on and don't kill anyone right now ,only do it as a last resort!" he yelled at Inoske

Tanjiro:"Yes! maybe we can help them!" he told Inoske

Inoske:"Shut up! just shut up! they want to die! they said so themselves! these guys are fast! if you drag your feet they'll kill us!" he said while dodging attacks

Tanjiro:"I need to think wait!" he yelled

Haku:'We need to find a way to stop them from moving and quickly!' he thought while dodging

then Haku saw Tanjiro running then throwing the girl corps member on a tree branch ,immobilizing her

Inoske:"What did you do! i wanna do that too!" he said as he started laughing and did the same as Tanjiro

Haku:'That could work but...i don't think i have the strength to lift someone right now...wait i got it!' he thought as he dodged the corps member's attack

Haku then ran through the woods until a sword was about to hit him , then as the sword was about to slice his head in two ,it stopped right at his forehead

Haku:'Finally the threads are tangled around the trees'

then as he was finally relaxing a bit, the controlled corps members were killed by the threads

Inoske:"Arrrgh Damn it! they're all dead!"

Haku:"Inoske! don't act like that!" he told Inoske while gritting his teeth

Tanjiro looked angry as well

Tanjiro:"Let's go"

Inoske:"Okay"

then as they ran through the forest again, Haku was getting more exhausted

Inoske:"This way! we're getting really close!"

then they saw a demon waiting for them

Tanjiro:"Inoske!"

Inoske:"I found it first!"

Haku:"Nobody cares!"

Inoske:"Shut up!"

but when they got closer they saw that the demon was headless

Inoske:"It doesn't have a head! so it doesn't have a weak spot! that means whah?! whadda we do!"

Tanjiro:"Calm down we'll use the Kesagiri maneuver!" he says then explains the maneuver

then Inoske immediately dashes towards the demon and gets multiple cuts on his body

then as he was about to dodge , spiders connected their threads to his body rendering him immobile

then as the demon was about to skewer him, Tanjiro redirected the the demon's (Hand scythe thingy)

Haku:'I only have enough blood for one attack left , here goes'

Haku:*Breath of blood : third form : red moon*

an arc of blood flew towards the demon cutting the demon's arm and shoulder off

then Haku began coughing up blood

Tanjiro:"Haku!"

Haku:"Don't worry! just beat the demon!"

Tanjiro:"Inoske! jump! *Water breathing : first form : striking tide*" he said then cut the demon's other arm and legs

Inoske jumps over the demon and slices it from behind and killing it

then as Haku relaxed a bit , Inoske yelled at Tanjiro

Inoske:"I can do anything you can do dummy!" he says dashing towards Tanjiro

Haku:'What is he on about' he thought with blood covering under his mouth

Inoske then throws Tanjiro in the air towards the string demon

haku:"What?"

then a bit later Tanjiro came back

Inoske:"Did you defeat the demon?" he said looking angry and full of injuries

Tanjiro:"Yes, are you two all right"

Inoske:"don't coddle me! okay? got it? i can do anything you can do! pretty soon, my head will be harder than yours!"

but Tanjiro was looking at Inoske's wounds with a sad look on his face

Haku:"Tanjiro, it isn't your fault okay so stop looking so gloomy"

Tanjiro:"Yes"

then he began trying to bandage Inoske

then they went forwards until they reached a river and heard the sound of lightning

after the three questioned the existence of lightning clouds above the mountain Inoske yelled

Tanjiro:"I think I'm going to take a look over there"

Inoske:"Do whatever you want!"

then Tanjiro asked Haku and Inoske to go down the mountain ,of course both refused

then as they were having this conversation ,they see a demon girl across the river

Inoske:"Graah! I'm gonna slice you up!"

Tanjiro:"Inoske!"

"Father!" said the demon girl

then a giant demon appeared from above

"Stay away from my family!"

Tanjiro:*Water breathing : second form : water wheel*

as Tanjiro was trying to cut the demon, the blade couldn't cut it's arm

then the demon tried punching Tanjiro, Tanjiro dodged and Inoske and Haku tried cutting the demon ,but to no avail

Then Tanjiro and Inoske jumped off of the demon's body

but Haku who was extremely exhausted couldn't do the same

then the demon hit him in the stomach, launching him towards a tree breaking it slightly

after the pain hit him blood trickled down his nose and mouth

but Haku couldn't feel anything and the whispers stopped

He couldn't see, touch , hear, smell or even taste

he didn't know if he was even conscious or not

he didn't know how much time has passed

then his eyes became slit like a cat's and his fangs grew larger

then he began to feel as if his entire body was being burned by fire

then as he regained some of his senses back ,his body began moving ,he felt as if he was the one who moved his body but his body didn't move according to his will and he felt extremely hungry

his body stood up

then he looked at the giant demon and Inoske, while...
