I thought that after 120 chapters, I should give myself a review. But really, this is more of a heads-up: - This book will have dark themes that may be triggering to some. It's not the darkest book ever, but read with discretion. - Is Harker an antihero? I considered this question for a long time and came into the conclusion that base on the definition, he is. He's not your typical edgy, morally gray antihero, but still an unconventional one. His motives are 'righteous' in hindsight but he doesn't hesitate to be brutal when needed. - Harker's character is flawed, and so is his powers. I took down the 'overpowered' tag because I decided I don't want people to think he is an OP Mary Sue MC who is a genius that never makes bad decisions in his life. If you don't like a flawed MC, go read another book. - As mentioned in the synopsis, the harem side would develop rather slow. There are 5 FLs in total, and the gaps on their introductions are far apart because I want them to be fully fleshed out with arcs that focus on them. As of 120 chapters, 2 out of 5 love interests had been introduced and Harker's relationship with the latest FL is still developing. - The mature parts are also sparse because of this. If you're just reading for that, then you got the wrong book. I want each of these mature parts to mean something and I also don't want my book to revolve around them, but on the journey of the MC instead. - The reincarnation and cultivation part may not be obvious at the beginning, but it is there. And there are many mysteries surrounding it. Feel free to make theories, I like reading them. -Don't expect this book to be just about a cool shapeshifting demon lord and just fighting monsters. IT DOES HAPPEN, but I made effort in putting depth to characters, the world, and the themes that this story has. Overall, I won't say it will be your favorite book or the best one you've ever read, because we all have different preferences. I just think that I did pretty well on giving justice to the premise I had in mind. Not perfect, but still good enough.

It's really good and the writing is just perfect. PERFECT! Just read 1st 5 chapters, don't take my word for it

The way the MC is introduced skips taking us through the clichè experience of your standard protagonist. (I.e. The MC’s life going from bad to worse) This is a fresh approach to introducing an MC, -at least from my experience as I’ve been well too used to the typical scenario of the MC getting beat down, then encountering a situation that would change their life for the better, if not at least give them the opportunity to change their lives. The first few chapters provide enough foreshadowing and teasing as food for the thought, and the author skillfully makes use of the supporting characters to illustrate our charismatic MC! I like the energy and thought invested in the plot as not many would take the time to put some depth into introductory side characters as they would rather give the MC the much needed screen time, allowing the readers to get attached as the plot builds up. However, this is a dangerous ball you’re playing if I may say! You’ll probably understand why later on as the story progresses! Jauzbdla

Give this novel a shot. Everything has been solid so far. The writing is good, characters have depth, story is progressing at a nice pace. Early days for the novel, so world building is still in progress but overall, worth the read.

This novel has an interesting premise, and the execution pays it off very well. The characters are fully fleshed out, especially the MC. There's many unique ideas and I can see that the author works hard to pay attention to every detail. I recommend looking forward to more chapters of this book, a solid read 👍

Overall, the early exposure of the inciting incident in the third chapter means that the story is progressing smoothly. There's a nice catch there! I thought Xi was a waifu but no. Nice twists!

Absolutely loving the story right now. Harkers motto is defo one to live by, and your descriptive way of writing accompanied with great story telling really helps a lot entertainment wise!

I read only few chapters but like it so far it got romance, cultivation and everything that like in the novel. I suggest more readers to read and enjoy it happily.

Loved reading this story but after I caught up it seems that the author has stopped writing the novel for some reason sadly. Hopefully you will pick this back up again because it’s a great read
