he opened his eyes and got up.
pieces of the destroyed body he landed on were everywhere, his body was drenched in blood.
unlike before, the demon was calm.
he looked around and at himself, he noticed how his clothes were torn and tattered.
he then reached to the dead soldier's body, the one that was not in pieces, except for the head..
he wore a light armor and a coat that was pretty much red because of the blood.
he picked up the armor, but Cha's body was too buff so it didn't fit.
so he just removed his not anymore expensive clothes and just put on the bloody cloak.
he turned around, walked to the book and picked it up.
he looked at it for a moment and he let out a creepy smile.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
meanwhile somewhere else.
"thou may enter now!"
a huge door opened, the woman awaiting her turn entered and traversed the long room, all the way before the stairs that elevated a throne.
she then kneeled down.
"thou might speak now!"
the person talking was not the one on the throne, it was a scrawny looking old man, at the bottom of the stairs, just a step above the kneeling woman.
"yes!"
"This is the general of the second army, Annabelle Elizabeth Lauren the II, here to give the weekly report"
"our assault on the dwarven front have proven once again to be useless"
"hmmmm"
the man sitting on the throne let out a sound of discontent.
she looked up, but she couldn't see him clearly because of the huge window behind the throne, which made his look more divine.
but she caught a glimpse of the man's eyes, they were of a beautiful bloody red, and they were furious.
she quickly bowed her head again, scared.
"b- but the attack to the cyclops has been successful! and we have managed to conquer 73% of their nation! t- though.. we suffered some casualties"
"hmm"
this time it was calmer, his rage had been diluted.
"and.. the squad that was sent to the evil forest has returned, but.. only one member made it back"
"she says that.. a demon killed her companions"
"WHAT?!" the old man exulted.
"she was too confused and scared to properly explain though"
"I see" it was the man sitting on the throne.
his voice was deep and masculine.
everyone shivered.
"so it is like that, huh"
"no problem, father had predicted a situation like this"
"you, general of the second army"
"ah! u- uh yes sir!"
"you and 5 elite soldiers you will pick from your army will venture with the special armament and subdue the demon"
"uh, sire if I might, the first squad is still returning from the assault to the dwarfs"
"at the moment only a few soldiers are available, only 3 are elites"
"I see, then you will bring them, and once the army has returned we'll send more squads"
"but sir, they are all tired and wounded"
"I said they will go too!"
"I- I apologize"
"now leave!"
"understood"
--------------------------------------------------------
deep into the forest..
a figure wanders covered by a cape, soaked in blood.
tree by tree, past all bushes and animals, a wooden hut which had been worn down by the passing of time.
*creak*
the figure approached the hut.
*creak*
but then suddenly.
BOOM!
from the ground a wooden spike made of intertwined branches right below the figure.
but right when it emerged, the figure barely dodged.
he got up, and proceeded inside the hut.
into the hut there were just a few broken and dusty wooden furnishings.
he reached the bed, and moved it away.
under the bed there was a trapdoor.
the trapdoor was locked by a lock but he just broke through with a punch.
under it, dark stairs led somewhere.
he got up and walked to a small cabinet in the angle.
he opened the drawer and pulled out a torch.
the torch was just a wooden stick, but it had a switch on the side.
he flipped the switch and the torch lit up, not with electricity, but a fire.
he then proceeded underground, and after after a while of walking, he reached a door with a combination lock.
he put in the password and opened it.
then he reached to the wall and pressed a switch.
the room was lit up.
something incredible, a sight to behold.
it extended for almost a kilometer, maybe more, a long corridor full of doors on the sides.
some rooms didn't have a door, such as the waiting room with the sofas or the break zone with a kitchen and a coffee machine.
it was all white and full of research equipment.
from small microscopes to giant advanced weird machines, divided in sections by colored lines on the floor.
he walked to the first room to his right.
it was one of the rooms without a door and wall at the entry.
there were carts inside.
he mounted in one of them, there was not key hole, just a button that he pushed and it turned on.
he then drove past all the doors, many weird things could be seen inside the rooms without a door.
he arrived at the end, to a door with a black line drawn on the floor.
he inserted the code and twisted the pommel.
he entered and turned on the lights, descended a few stairs and reached the center of the room.
a big black box sealed by locks, chains and yellow pieces of papers with magic words on them.
he removed the hoodie, it was the mc.
then, he uttered some incomprehensible words.
"𝔤𝔥𝔤𝔶𝔤𝔥𝔬𝔬, 𝔢𝔦𝔧𝔥𝔣𝔦𝔣𝔢𝔴𝔥, 𝔣𝔢𝔴𝔦𝔥𝔴𝔲𝔣𝔥!"
the box started to shake violently, and then shine of a red light.
*zing*
the box fell to the ground sliced to pieces.
the inside of the box was revealed.
a sword.
it was beautiful, yet ominous.
the sword's hilt was made of sharp bones, the handle was black and the blade was long but not large, a longsword.
it emitted a wicked aura of evil, as if the moment you touched it, your life would have ended.
"𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔟𝔢𝔢𝔫 𝔞 𝔴𝔥𝔦𝔩𝔢, 𝔪𝔶 𝔣𝔯𝔦𝔢𝔫𝔡"
he then extended his arm and the sword flew right in his palm.
"𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔰 𝔣𝔢𝔢𝔩𝔦𝔫𝔤.. ℑ 𝔥𝔞𝔳𝔢 𝔪𝔦𝔰𝔰𝔢𝔡 𝔦𝔱.."
then he put the sword to his back and turned around.
he walked to the door, but stopped.
"𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔰 𝔟𝔬𝔡𝔶..."
"𝔦𝔰 𝔥𝔲𝔪𝔞𝔫"
"𝔥𝔪𝔪.. 𝔦𝔱 𝔪𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 𝔴𝔬𝔯k"
then he went back once more.
walked down the stairs, past the pieces of the sword's seal and reached the end of the room.
this time there was not door, no combination, no handle, just wall.
he put his hand on the sword and..
*zing*
too fast to be seen, the sword was already back to his back.
the wall crumbled to the ground, the light of the room illuminated beyond the ex-wall.
the room had the same shape as the one before it.
he walked on the debris of the wall, and descended the stairs, once again.
this time there was no box, but a pedestal.
a sword with no blade was resting on the pedestal, it looked too advanced to be from this world.
he picked it.
the sword then shone blindingly.
