The smell of blood

"The correct question is whether you're going to kill me or disable me!!"

".........." The assassin frowned this time, but despite the fear that had crept into his mind, he tightened his grip on the rifle and laughed as he pointed at Hao.

"Even if you're a freak who managed to get into the building." You've only arrived at the threshold of your death's door." When he looked at the empty-handed Hao, he smirked and pulled the trigger, but just as the bullet was about to be fired, the rifle's muzzle melted and changed its shape.

The muzzle of the rifle closed, leaving no room for the bullet to exit. However, the bullet had already passed through the chamber and travelled through the barrel hitting against the red-hot barrel.

The man's eyes widened, but before he could process anything happening, the barrel and a part of the gun exploded into pieces and the shrapnel and the melted parts of the gun blasted into the head of the sniper. Like a watermelon thrown from a great height, it burst open, sputtering blood and shredded flesh all over the floor, as well as on Hao's face, who stood there unharmed.

"Tsk! I'll have to take a bath before returning to my room. Zhao Wei sighed as she looked at her master, he looked irritated by the way the blood had ruined his clothes as well.

"I'm afraid we're going to lose the 50 points we earned this morning!" She examined the sniper, who was unrecognizable.

Hao had been abusing and murdering others since the morning, and she would be surprised if he did not face the consequences.

"DING" "DING" "DING" "DING" "DING" "DING" "DING" "DING

"The host has been awarded 50 points for saving a girl's life and eliminating an assassin who has killed over a hundred innocent people!!"

When she heard the notification, her eyes widened, and her gaze instinctively went to Hao, who seemed unaffected by it, as if he didn't care about the points anymore, which surprised her once more.

He asked, tilting his head and looking at Zhao Wei,

"I'm in desperate need of a new set of clothes or to have them cleaned right now!" His tone remained cold, in stark contrast to his usual slack demeanor with her, which surprised her even more, but she nodded.

She flew closer to him and waved her hands over his clothes, instantly making them new. And all of the blood from his face vanished as well.

"Creakkk…"

When he heard the creak sound of the door opening, he checked himself making sure he was neat and clean and snapping his head back to the room where Tang Min had opened the door.

He stood up on the boundary of the wall and jumped high in the sky. It felt like he was flying but in the next second, he landed on the balcony of the room with a soft thud.

Tang Min, who had been frowning at the empty room, sighed with relief as she heard the thud and walked over to the balcony and noticed his presence.

"I asked everyone to leave, including my assistant." So, what's the strategy now?" she inquired, her tone a little unsure.

Despite her decision to trust this man, she only knew a few things about him because her investigators didn't have much information about him. She had an uneasy feeling in her heart now that she was alone with him.

"First, you must establish that the photograph is not yours. Attempt to persuade a woman of a similar build to accept that it was her picture. Then I'll spend a few days with you and would like to meet your brother."

"I'll leave once I'm sure he's accepted defeat and isn't planning any more attacks on you." His voice was stiff and monotonous, as if it were a machine devoid of any emotion.

Tang Min's eyes darkened and her face became glum, but she nodded.

"Did you just injure yourself or is it just me imagining?" she asked, her face crumpled as he moved, and she covered her nose with her palms.

"What do you mean?" Despite the fact that he had a vague idea of what she was talking about, he shook his head as he examined his body and face in the mirror behind her.

"I couldn't stand the smell of blood!" It makes me feel sick to my stomach! If you are hurt, I will have someone administer first aid to you.

"Your body has a strong stench of blood, as if you've taken a bath in it!!" She walked out of the room without waiting for him to speak, still pinching her nose so hard that her entire face had changed color.

"Zhao Wei!" "What is happening here, she a mere human being! How could she smell blood that had been completely cleaned?"

"I swear, even I couldn't smell the blood on you, Master!" Zhao Wei even approached him and sniffed him again, when she saw his eyes glowing menacingly.

"Mm, you can go back. I think I need to take a bath now!"

"Sir," the waiter whom he had given a lot of notes for escorting him entered with a first aid box in the room.

"Where are you injured, mister?" He walked closer and opened the box as he took out bandages and antiseptic and then turned to look at Hao.

The lady was telling me that there was a strong stench of smell and to make sure that it did not come anymore from the man. But he could not seem to find an injury or smell and stench!

"Tsk! Let that go and tell me where I can take a bath! And arrange a new dress for me!" Hao replied with a strange smirk on his face that was looking rather scary.

The waiter gulped as he asked nervously, "from where i can do so?"

He was just a waiter here, even when he could book a room for the man and arrange his bath, from where did he bring a fresh set of expensive clothes!?

He forwarded his hand, clearly indicating that he needed a lot of money for all that! He knew that man was loaded. So, it would not be any problem.

But unexpected to his thoughts, the man standing in front of him, smirked and parted his lips.

"Ask the lady standing outside to pay for it."
