Figo watched with a grim face as the White Mist Spider Demons came closer to him.
'So, this is it.' Figo sighed softly while he closed his eyes. He also let go of his body, not wanting to feel the pain of getting his body ripped and mashed on jagged teeth.

All of a sudden, several white beams penetrated through their heads, taking their lives.

Figo's eyes shot open, hearing the sound of a heavy object getting dropped to the ground. He was surprised to find the White Mist Spider Demons dead, right before his eyes. Then a figure emerged from behind a White Mist Spider Demon's body. Putting a smile on his face, he said. "I am glad you are alive."
Ana didn't respond to him; instead, picking him up and putting him on her shoulder, she ran the opposite of the city's direction, not even caring for Figo being naked.
