Meeting His Other Half
Some Hours Earlier
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I am so sorry!" Brooke kept chanting from outside the changing room of the clothing store close to the airport.
"I didn't mean to-" her words were cut off when Thane stepped out of the dressing room in a checkered grey and white shirt and a pair of jeans underneath.
"It is not your fault Brooke."
"Yes it is. I got jet lagged and threw up all over your clothes, it is a hundred percent my fault." She groaned.
Thane crouched down and held her hand, "It was your first flight."
"It was your first flight too. Or well, your first time not in a jet, but still. I feel awful. Did you see the way the driver looked at me?" She huffed, recalling the morbid look on their cab driver's face when he arrived at the airport to pick them up.
