Intense Battles (Part Two)

Lei Zhen muttered an incantation under his breath, and with a raise of his hand, a finger pointed directly forward.

With a "boom,"

a thick arc of electricity descended from the sky, striking straight toward the top of Sima Tian's head.

Without uttering a word, Sima Tian swung the short ruler in his hand into the air.

With a "puff," a cluster of dark clouds rolled upwards.

Upon striking the clouds, the arc of electricity disappeared without a trace after a muffled sound.

"A spiritual weapon,"

Though Lei Zhen had somewhat anticipated this, he couldn't help but shrink his pupils and exclaim upon seeing it.

"Correct. This Ice Profound Cloud Ruler was acquired from the market with all my savings, specifically to counter your lightning techniques," Sima Tian said gloomily, flipping his hand to reveal a palm-sized yellow leather bag, which he threw into the air. A burst of rosy light unfurled from it, and before him appeared a tall, dark figure shrouded in ghostly aura.
