In Due Time

Asteria P.O.V.

I really hate myself for being that stupid for once in this entire quest. I know we had a meeting coming up and it was frustrating how I had to try and contemplate whether or not I should tell them what I did. Which by the gods is one of the things I'm regretting ever happening in my life.

"It was only a matter of time before they found it out. I'm surprised you demigods lasted this long."

This voice was unfamiliar and calm. I mean last time it was my mother and she hasn't sent any sign of her presence since she arrived. It was more surprising that someone seems to be in my head.

"Don't worry child. Unlike your mother, the rules of helping demigods are quite different for me. In do time you'll know that it is not just your mother's plan to bring you all here."

The voice fades and I find myself right in front of the door for our meetings. I've must have been so caught up with my thoughts that I came here without thinking. Well, that's just great. I open the door to see Annabeth and Percy working on homework together. As well as Hazel, Frank, and Nico working together on something I didn't know what it was. Thalia was training with Jason. Everything was fine and it felt like it was fine. But everything wasn't fine. It was driving me crazy how everything wasn't fine.

"The golden trio knows," I say.

Everything went quiet. No chatters were heard and eyes were all on me. The only thing that made noise was Thalia dropping a sword onto the floor. Thalia walks up to me, she looked angry. I was afraid, for one she was the Lieutenant of Artemis Hunters and was also the daughter of Zeus. I didn't want to be beaten up by one of the most dangerous person in the room.

"I shouldn't have left you after we continued the prank," Thalia says. "I mean making sure Jason doesn't overshine the other quidditch players for a spot is not a priority. I should have at least invited you."

Percy, Nico, and Annabeth were surprised by Thalia's reaction. Less so than I was. I didn't have much experience with her around and it a sudden change of how she reacted.

"They know we're demigods. And I think that we should keep a low profile know with them," I say, still not yet calm down from how thalia approved me.

Everyone nods and went back to work around the fact they know. It wasn't going to be easy and I knew it was time to actually use our abilities to our advantage.

Third Person P.O.V.

Everything didn't go back to normal. Not for the demigods anyway. Working in the D.A. and staying quiet lately.

It was one of the nights that Asteria was having a dreamless sleep until it she was in this dream of a man yelling in pain . . . then he fell silent. . . . He slumped backward against the wall. . . . Blood was splattering onto the floor. . . . All she could see was that a snake attacked the man. She walks up in a cold sweat and starts running down to the common room. Asteria wasn't about to have another demigod dream and not be able to help. Though she did hear people yelling for Harry to wake up. She rushes to the room pushing through them as the chatter of it being just a dream.

"It wasn't a dream. Ron your father is hurt," Asteria says firmly.

Harry was a little shocked at Asteria's sudden agreement with him and seeing her here was odd. The trio hadn't spoken to her since they found the truth. With the fact that Asteria just agreed with Harry made it harder for them to believe her.

"I'm fine!" Harry choked, wiping his mouth on his pajamas and shaking uncontrollably. "There's nothing wrong with me, it's your dad you've got to worry about — we need to find out where he is — he's bleeding like mad — I was — it was a huge snake. . . ."

He tried to get out of bed but Ron pushed him back into it; Dean and Seamus were still whispering somewhere nearby. Whether one minute passed or ten, Harry did not know; he simply sat there shaking, feeling the pain recede very slowly from his scar. . . . Then there were hurried footsteps coming up the stairs, and he heard Neville's voice again.

"Over here, Professor . . ." Professor McGonagall came hurrying into the dormitory in her tartan dressing gown, her glasses perched lopsidedly on the bridge of her bony nose.

"What is it, Potter? Where does it hurt?" He had never been so pleased to see her; it was a member of the Order of the Phoenix he needed now, not someone fussing over him and prescribing useless potions.

"It's Ron's dad," he said, sitting up again. "He's been attacked by a snake and it's serious, I saw it happen."

"I saw it too, Professor," Asteria said trying to stay with them.

"What do you mean, you two saw it happen?" said Professor McGonagall, her dark eyebrows contracting.

"I mean that it isn't just me who saw it. If I'm correct Nico is going to try and get in here to get me," Asteria says hand behind her to tell Harry not to speak. "All transfers have dreams that are like that please believe us. Mr. Weasley will need it."

Harry was surprised that Asteria was the one to defend him. More importantly, he didn't expect a Slytherin to come here and get Asteria.

"So you two dreamed this," Professor McGonagall says.

"No!" said Harry angrily. Would none of them understand? "I was having a dream at first about something completely different, something stupid . . . and then this interrupted it. It was real, I didn't imagine it, Mr. Weasley was asleep on the floor and he was attacked by a gigantic snake, there was a load of blood, he collapsed, someone's got to find out where he is. . . ."

Professor McGonagall was gazing at them through her lopsided spectacles as though horrified at what she was seeing.

"I'm not lying, and I'm not mad!" Harry told her, his voice rising to a shout. "I tell you, I saw it happen!"

"I believe you, Potter," said Professor McGonagall curtly. "Put on your dressing-gown — we're going to see the headmaster."

Harry gets up and gets ready. Professor McGonagall turns to Asteria. The professor seems more suspicious of her and it was showing.

"And Miss Katsaras you should do the same," she says to Asteria.
