Going Out

Third Person P.O.V.

Asteria was fidgeting with the other coin that was tracking her. It was colder and wasn't getting any warmer. The others mostly sat in silence around the table, watching the candlewick sinking lower and lower into liquid wax, now and then raising bottles to their lips, speaking only to check the time, to wonder aloud what was happening, and to reassure one another that if there was bad news, they would know straight away, for Mrs. Weasley must long since have arrived at St. Mungo's.

And then, at ten past five in the morning by Ron's watch, the kitchen door swung open and Mrs. Weasley entered the kitchen. She was extremely pale, but when they all turned to look at her, Fred, Ron, and Harry half-rising from their chairs, she gave a wan smile.

"He's going to be all right," she said, her voice weak with tiredness. "He's sleeping. We can all go and see him later. Bill's sitting with him now, he's going to take the morning off work."

Fred fell back into his chair with his hands over his face. George and Ginny got up, walked swiftly over to their mother, and hugged her. Ron gave a very shaky laugh and downed the rest of his butterbeer in one.

"Breakfast!" said Sirius loudly and joyfully, jumping to his feet.

Asteria comes from out of the living room. She watches from afar as everyone was trying to be cheerful. She didn't have anything to say except maybe encouraging words.

"I can make breakfast," Asteria says softly. "I mean it couldn't be harder than anything feeding the seven with Thalia and Nico as an added bonus."

Molly turns to see Asteria. She gives a soft smile.

"Dear, why are you here? I know you shouldn't be here," Molly says.

"Look if this is a secret base for your plans on beating Voldemort, having me here doesn't change anything," Asteria says moving fully into the kitchen. "I had a vision and Dumbledor wants me here."

Asteria was done with hiding their identities and honestly saying this now would probably lighten the blow. But she couldn't do it right there. So they went on with their day as she was the one making sure everything was perfect. That chatter that she didn't interrupt as everyone settled in. She was alone in a place where they all didn't know her.

When the time came for everyone to go see Auther, Sirius and Asteria had to stay behind. Asteria for the reason as she didn't know the family and Sirius for being a fugitive. The silence was killing her and her coin was getting any warmer.

"Let's go," Asteria says.

She had come downstairs wearing all black with hints of purple in her outfit. Her skin was covered partially because she didn't have time for showing her scars. You could only see bronzes glow from her shoulders and face. Asteria was putting on a choker as she said it. Which was kind of surprising to Sirius. She should have been informed that he couldn't leave this place for being on the run.

"You need to get some new clothes. And I can't stay in the house any longer," Asteria says walking to the door. "So are you coming or not."

Sirius follows her. Preparing to shift into his dog form as she opens the door. He didn't want to be on the run any more than the rest of them.

"And no changing forms. I got everything cover."

Asteria smiles as she pulls Sirius around London. She didn't know where she was but the stores they've been through made Sirius feel human. He didn't know that he looked different until he saw a glance at the mirror while Asteria wasn't looking. He looked like what would have been him if he didn't spend most of his years in Azkaban. But his eyes were different something about the color he couldn't quite tell why it felt different.

"What spell is this?" Sirius asks as he watches her go through the clothes.

"Harder to explain. But it works doesn't it," Asteria says as she takes a leather jacket and compares it with his physique.

Sirius hums in understanding. Talking magic in front of Muggles would make them look crazy. That was until she dropped what she was holding. Asteria was paralyzed and shaking. Her breath was rapid and her thoughts were kicking into overdrive as she had to take Sirius back to Griummand Place without a problem.

She quickly picked up the stuff and put it back and started to pull Sirius out of the store.

"I smell a demigod. And it's been a while since we had one," Stheno says.

Sirius was confused by both the statement he just heard from passing and Asteria rushing out of the store. That was until there was a huge crashing sound from the windows and out came the two sisters he saw in passing. They landed so close to them that Sirius pulls out his wand.

"Asteria. What a lovely surprise?" Euryale says.

"It's nothing lovely about it," Asteria spat back.

She was about to pull out her sword when she felt the warmth of her coin that was only cold a few seconds ago. As Euryale and Stheno came to attack, Nico comes from the shadows and grabs both Sirius and Asteria, and taking them away. It wasn't far but it was a place without many people watching.

"Di Immortals. Nico, I'd thank you but what in Hade's name is going on," Asteria asks Nico, who was almost about to tumble over.

"Your mother gave a sign that something was up. She didn't know what," Nico says before passing out.

"What is going on?" Sirius yells as he starts looking around where he was.

Asteria started pacing as she started to formulate an easy way of explaining it to someone who didn't know about Greek mythology.

"A lot of things. And the only easy way of explaining it would be back at the place. I might also need a nap like him," Asteria says pointing at Nico

Sirius nods. It would be only a matter of time before she would explain. But for what it's worth he'd wait, for she was only a child.

"Good. Can you pick him up?" she asks pointing to Nico.

"That I can do," he says.

Sirius picks up Nico and Asteria grabs onto Sirius's arms. She envelopes them into the shadows and brought them to Grimmauld Place. Asteria sits down and tries to compose herself from what was about to happen. The explaining of a lifetime.
