DEMIGOD: DAWN OF TIME

#Fantasy ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The prophecy rewrite's the genesis. And what we see, isn't what we expect. A demigod is born. To save the world from a great demon, casted down by the gods themselves. A young girl, known to be a princess from a good Kingdom, finds herself in a big celestial situation. Which was caused by her stubborn undying curiosity to adventure. But as the story goes on, she finds out that she is no where near an ordinary Princess with a lowlife. Instead, she is been given a great responsibility that could shake the world's new beginning. But unfortunately, she seems to not be sure if she could carry that kind of responsibility. And yet, will she have a choice? #Romance ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I opened my mouth, to take in air as I felt my face dripping with water. I turned to face Remiel. And he held a very serious look, while staring deeply into my eyes. And for some reason, his eyes seemed to glow more in the night. I was mesmerized by the sight. But why did he drag me out all of a sudden? I haven't totally ran out of breath. "Isn't it obvious little human?" I heard his dark voice. "It seems the beautiful sight is making you forget my presence. And we don't want that..." I felt my eyes widen at his statement. I thought I didn't hear him right. But when I looked up at him, his lips had curved into a deep devilish smirk.

LITTLE BIRD

"Tell us Neera, did she tell you anything strange?" Abel spoke to me, with his left hand giving gestures.

Well..., She did...

I thought. So I nodded. "Yes"

"Really? What did she tell you, can you tell us" Zach said with an excited manner.

So I thought about it, before I answered "Well..., She just kept saying that I needed to come with her right now, she also said that I needed to trust her"

They first seemed as they understand what was going on, but then they changed their expressions to a confused one.

Then, Abel reasoned out "Maya would never use this tactic, in fact, no one does"

"Unless she has had the person in her care before, with enough time and familiarity to manipulate them" Zach concluded.

Then he turned to me, and asked.

"Have you seen her before?"

"Yes, she was my maid" I answered honestly.

"You mean she has been with you in the human world for a long time..?" He spoke with a bit of confirmation and most of a gasp.

I nodded.

"She only took care of me, but she always warned me of uncle Cedric"

Then he gasped out "oh! she was trying to hide you in the human world till she does her deed"

He then chuckled "what a snake..."

Abel turned to me and started explaining.

"Disha is a witch Neera, she was an assistant to the prophetess before actually.

But she one day made a reasoning that only the prophetess has the power to speak directly with the gods. And she felt left out"

"So greed overcame her, she went to seek power from an unknown dark source.

She became powerful though, but she still couldn't speak with the gods"

"When the prophetess found out, she realised that she had been corrupted. So she was banned from the mystic world. Now she has become a stranger to the people of the light" Zach said.

"Mostly because no one could recognise her of her real form actually, she looked evil.

We don't know exactly what she wants with you, but we promise you that we would protect you from her".

This was too much. How was I supposed to take this!

My maid Maya, who had been with me ever since I was born, was evil!

why wasn't I feeling sad though?

Probably because she was already annoying back at earth, always stopping me from doing the things I loved.

But I still felt offended, that she did all these to me. Didn't she feel guilty at all?!

Well, at least I'm safe from her now. I sighed in my mind.

The twins soon left, but they told me to be worried free. Assuring me once again, that all this would soon be over.

I really felt weird with myself, because wasn't I supposed to talk out loud, and question my reason of being here, facing all this.

How did a normal life turn into one with supernatural things that I can't believe exists.

But here I was, feeling gentle. Always nodding softly to whatever they kept saying. Without knowing where my life was heading.

I just hope that all this would end soon, and I would be able to at least know where I would continue my future and destiny.

Very soon, it was noon. And I had eaten the food brought by those siren girls.

It was delicious though, and massive.

I couldn't even finish the food, I just left the rest for some other time.

And don't ask me why I ate, or why I wasn't feeling scared and conscious. Maybe because I just followed my heart and growling stomach.

Sitting on the bed, I suddenly heard a cry from a bird.

I looked up at the big window, and saw a little bird about falling from a tall tree

Why couldn't the bird fly, it was a bird after all.

But when I looked closely, I noticed that the bird seemed to have just been hatched, amongst the other unhatched eggs.

And the mother wasn't there. I immediately felt my heart jumb when I heard a snap from the thin branch of the tree, holding up the little nest.

It appears that the weight of the nest has become too heavy for the thin branch.

Why couldn't the mother bird see that in the first place!

Hearing another snap, I immediately took to my feet and ran to the window.

Wondering how I could catch the bird, i realized that the thin branch of the tree was closer to the window.

So I decided to stretch out of the window to take the nest before the thin branch falls off.

But realising that my hand still couldn't reach the nest.

I thought of why not just stretching a little further, while kneeling on the stool.

Almost....

I was almost reaching it as I held unto the thin branch for support, too much support.

I finally caught the nest, and placed it on the window.

Sighing, I decided to turn back away from the big window. But before I could move, I suddenly heard a big snap, making me freeze. And before I tried moving again, the twig broke and i lost my balance.

I fell....

I fell?....

I fell!

I could already feel gravity pulling me down in a massive speed.

And yet, for some reason I didn't even scream.

Of course, why would I?

I was only gasping out loud with the high total of gravity dragging me down.

I didn't want to sound pathetic, or cause any trouble.

It was better to just die in silence and peace. Right?

I have read it in novels, how girls would scream so loud, it sounded so pathetic even to me as a girl.

Why were girls like that by the way?

Wait, shouldn't I be thinking of my death?

I slowly closed my eyes, in await of me hitting the ground. And my spirit blooming out of my body.

But, I didn't feel my body hitting the ground yet.

I already calculated, that with that amount of gravity, I should have hit the ground by now.

But instead, I fell into a pair of warm arms.

What was happening?

Even though, I still hadn't open my eyes, I felt the pair of arms bringing me closer to a strong, yet soft body.

Then, I decided to open my eyes.

Who was this one that saved me from my funny death.

I fluttered my eyes open, only to be awestruck, or should I have said dumbstruck.

Because I went dumb immediately after.
