New World

I opened my eyes with drowsiness and groaned, I was lying down on a soft surface that was quite relaxing, I feel like I could stay here forever but first.

I had to check my surroundings, I seemed to be in some kind of forest, with many tall trees, the strangest thing I noticed immidiately was my eyesight, I was seeing way more clearer than I had ever before, I could see the intricate veins and laminas on the leaves and make out it's pattern, my eyesight had improved tremendously, it was much sharper and I could see quite far away, I had changed?; Currently I was also wearing the same exact purple yakata I was wearing when I was talking to Kami.

Aside from that, I needed to figure which world I was in, I actually forgot to ask Kami what world he was going to transport me to, I did not want to be in a frightening world like Naruto where they had immortal ninjas, bloody wars and bunny goddesses all packed in one dangerous planet, that is one world I wouldn't survive in.

I sighed thinking of my situation.

It looks like I had spent some time thinking as it was already night, I finally got up from my position and stood up, I started walking around, taking a breath of fresh air.

Some strange things happened to me, I went to cross the road and a stupid truck went and killed me! the more I think about it, the more my eyebrow twitches, I stomped the ground in anger to vent some frustration out.

My journey through the forest led me to discover someone with white hair on the sides and none on the top, probably an old man, he was squatting down on the ground,

There seemed to be a d-dead body?

I squinted my eyes to make sure what I was seeing was not an hallucination, it was not, there it was.

A cold dead corpse

I could see how still it was due to my newly enhanced eyesight. I stepped back multiple steps in fear but I tripped on a branch or something and fell down, my butt hitting the dirt ground in pain, the noise of the snapping branch caused the old man who was squatting near the corpse to notice me and turn around sharply.

His eyes were completely black but the most terrifying thing was the red blood smothered all over his mouth, I put two and two together and my thoughts immidiately turned towards all the different methods that this 'thing' could kill me with.

The fact that further proved my hunch was that after the black-eyed old man turned around, I could see the body in detail, it wasn't even fully intact, many limbs and pieces were apart. I started backing up frantically

This was so unfair

I was gonna die after just being transported

But then

Right then

The most amazing thing happened to me, something that I will never forget, it was the time I met Daisuke Watanabe, my future teacher.

He came in swooping with grace, his face was so calm like as if the black eyed old man wasn't even worth his time, he stood infront of me to protect me, he bent his body down a bit like as if he was a cannon ball ready to shoot out at any moment, his position seemed strange to me but the next moment, he disappeared and reappeared with his blade piercing the 'things' neck, the next movement he did was spin and chop off its neck, effectively making it's head drop to the ground, the thing that happened after explained and confirmed which world I was in, the Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise, I knew this by the fact that the head and body 'burned' out of existence.

After all that, I went to turn around and immidiately vomit

The trauma of seeing someone eat someone, especially having to see the fully mangled up corpse yourself no less was definitely devastating.

I started to clear my head and gather all my thoughts, I knew what world I was in now so I could now properly think of ways to prolong my life

I was in the Kimetsu no Yaiba world so the main threat was most definitely Muzan Kibitsuji, I did not want to become a demon as you would have to eat people, that was something I did not want to become.

As I was thinking all of that, I didn't even notice the swordsman walking towards me, by the time he was at a 1 meter vicinity from me I had by then noticed him, I got to really properly look at his appearance this time.

His face looked lazy and tired, his eyes were completely closed but he was smiling, I wonder how he was able to see?

He had short black hair with some white spots unlike me and his age seemed to be in his early 40's I think, he didn't really seem special or noticeable, he had the aura of a background character but ironically his skills were definitely not like one.

He scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

Daisuke: "Hi, are you ok?"

Me: "Huh?, oh yes I am"

I continued looking dumbly at him

Me: "Who are you?"

Daisuke: "My name is Daisuke Watanabe, I am a demon slayer, what you just met right now was a demon"

He doesn't know that I know of demons but I had to keep my secret, telling people I was from another world would most likely bring danger

I thought of the reaction of a person who didn't know what a demon was and widened my eyes to make it look like I was suprised.

Hmph.

Back in high school I was known as the 'Acting Prodigy' because of my decieving looks and movements.

Me: "W-what, a demon?"
