7 Chapter 7: Salvation

Death have touch me

Yet I refuse my own Death

Now Death will take everything

My own salvation is the ruination of all

My eyes moistened as I stared at the transparent window. There lies the body of mother. She's not breathing anymore. My feet went towards the door towards her room but I have been stopped by the nurses and doctor. They told me to wait but I can't.

"..."

Silence envelops me as if swallowing me whole and breaking me apart. My mind is in a mess and I cannot think straight.

'When Death comes it's just all of a sudden huh'

I whispered and the memories of my mother flowed within me followed by the tears that rapidly flow in the ground like raindrops. The time we spent from youth until now flowed like a flood in my brain.

'This is not true, everything is a joke, my mom is just lying and sleeping there right? Hey, mom when will you wake up, don't worry I will be the one to cook today.. behold my greatest recipe'

'So please wake up'

I convince myself and stray further from the cold truth but before I am swallowed with the so-called despair. A gentle voice called me.

It's very warm and soothing voice calling my name

"Kiro"

Dyne's words make me dragged back from reality

'Yes she is sleeping soundly and eternally. There's no time to be sentimental, even if death comes I have Dyne and as long as I have her I will surpass and defy death if necessary'

I resolve myself and held Dyne's hands

"Let's go, meet Mom"

I open the door and went inside her room, the doctor is saying many complicated things but I am only focus to my sleeping mother. I went and touched her hands and I felt an indescribable cold and there's no signs of life anymore.

'I am happy that she is in hospital. The one who brings her here is very nice person I look at her face and smile

"I'm going to save you so please wait for me Mom"

I said and am now determined to use this kind of power for someone's sake this time. Dyne seems to understand what I meant and we went to the rooftop. The sky seems dark and it looks like a rain will come, no not rain but a storm will come.

'But I don't care I will save my mom at all cost I look at Dyne. First, I need to say sorry—'

"Dyne! I want—"

"I know~" she smile and turn her back to me, Sorry Dyne.. sorry Dyne, but I will do everything to save my mother.

"Hmmm.. Kiro promise me one thing" she said and went closer and put out her pinky finger and offer a pinky promise.

"What is it, Dyne?" I said and kneel over to level my height to her

"Promise, that you must accept what will be the outcome" she said, her diamond like eyes will almost cry. Still, I can't understand what she is saying but....

"Promise~" I said and put my pinky to hers and we vow to each other. I will accept everything... that is if it will favour me. She smile but her smile seems not so lovely as yesterday... sorry.

"Close your eyes" she said and I slowly close my eyes but my urge to see what is happening is very high but Dyne scolded me.

"No cheating~" she cover my eyes to be sure and suddenly I felt that I am in a very warm place and even though my eyes is closed I can see that I am also in a bright place. The light is striking my eyes so I suddenly open it up but what I've seen is just bright light. Then suddenly I am transferred to my seat and come back to my class before it ends.
