My First Day Of School: Science Fair?

"Erin go to class! You can't sleep in here"

Hearing the shattering whisper he shot up in his seat and as he had he looked next to him very startled by that voice to see Nate standing at his side with a scolding expression and posture as he was ready to argue with Erin if he talked back.

Looking at him and seeing that, Erin looked away and pressed his head against the table.

"I wasn't asleep I was meditating"

"Bullshit! Now get up and go to class before I have to pick you up and bring you there myself. And we both know I'll do it. . .Again"

"Uggggggghhhhhh...."

Groaning, he slammed his hands on the table startling Nate as well as everyone in the library as they looked at him as he proceeded to move out of his seat and stand.

"Shut up! Stop telling me what to do! Just leave me alone!!!"

Erin shouted shocking Nate as it hadn't been that serious and he knew that Erin knew that and he was just mildly disciplining him to try and get a bit of structure into Erin's academic life since that's the only faulty conviction he had. But this alarmed him as Erin looked completely serious and he even shouted.

Looking to Nate as his face was all flustering red,

He then turned and kicked the chair shooting over a few feet before storming out of the library.

"What's his problem?" Nate?

"Was I too hard on him???"

Saying that to himself in a mumble he then heard many students gossiping and talking about Erin from what happened and as soon as he heard the word crazy involved in it, he looked to the boy whispering from a few tables away and his eyes scared the man.

"Talk about my little brother again and I'll murder you"

He then looked around as everyone else heard that and he looked to everyone who dared open their mouth talking about him and Erin and he THREATENED everyone on the spot before leaving.

Storming down the hallway with slight tears forming in Erin's eyes. The outline of black tentacle markings similar to a tattoo faded from around Erin's wrists. And as he kept walking his emotions that were unstabily spilling out had reverted to a stable attribute.

Meanwhile, Nate ran after Erin.

But he was unable to catch Erin in time.

As Erin had already found his way to his homeroom.

However, it wasn't too late for him.

Erin was in an empty science classroom and there was more than enough time for him to resolve this conflict and see what was wrong with him and make it all better. He didn't like how angry Erin was and it scared him because he's never seen that–. . .He hasn't seen much of it.

*Thump*

But just as he was thinking of how he was going to bring peace between him and his "brother" Erin, he heard a bang and he looked back into the room to see Erin's head on the desk.

"Erin!"

Calling out to him with extreme worry shaking his voice he ran through the hall to the middle of the class and grabbed onto Erin.

"What's wrong! Erin are you alright!!"

He was scared and worried but as he grabbed Erin's shoulders and pulled him up a bit, he pulled him back enough to where Erin was sitting up and as he was.

"Zzzzzz~"

"You gotta be kidding me..."

Erin was hard asleep. Like burned out asleep to where nothing was going to break him from this nap. Nothing!

Let him go of Erin as he was worried for nothing. It was just one of Erin's most known tactics called a burnout. But just as he let go of Erin. Erin had face planted against the desk and he just realized that he let go of him at the wrong moment at the wrong time and as Erin's the head hit the desk he screamed out in shock as he had completely forgotten that Erin was asleep

"Erin! No! Not against!"

For the next hour before class could come into session, Nate protected Erin as he slept at his desk. Safeguarding him till he woke up. And when Erin did, he snuck off before Erin could realize that he was in there.

After waking up it wasn't long before the classroom filled with students of many kinds and virtues. And when it had and everyone chatted at their desk with their friends and groups since nothing seems to be a sign of course. Not so long after the room filled Erin was called out by the teacher for reasons he had no idea of.

"Hey you. Come here" The teacher said looking directly at Erin.

She didn't recognize him and when asking who he was she found out that he was one of the students that never showed up to class in the last two days. She questioned and asked him why he didn't come or if he had skipped. She asked for reasons to why he didn't show up for the last 2 days?

But it was soon shut down as he just said that he felt ill over the past two days and his family wouldn't let him come to school.

"I see. Then you can go ahead and take a seat. Class will begin soon so go get a science textbook from the back. Oh! And if you hear about... if you see any student... What was I gonna say?" Teacher

"Yeah, so," Teacher

"If you hear anything from a student named Nick, tell him to come to class. He just like you haven't come lately and if he is just like you. I hope his health isn't too bad" Teacher

"Yes ma'am"

Erin said scurrying to the back and grabbing a textbook before going back to his seat and waiting for his teacher's instructions.

Science Teacher: Sirris teaches science at the local school on Oxford Street which we're going to call [Oxford High] in which is one of the best schools of this irregular town.

Sirris calm and patient which sometimes leads to a disordered classroom.

With class now starting! Erin was focused! He looked at the front of the room! He looked at the teacher! He ignores the students! And he was down for it! He was ready to learn! Eeh or so he thought?

Focusing and listening to the teacher he studied the material she gave out and talked about. It was hard to get going at first but after thinking about it for a while, he felt like he was making progress in the end.

what are the class fast and just as he thought he was doing good at everything was really quite normal for his somewhat first day this s*** happened.

"The science fair will be held in a few weeks," Sirris announces.

"Taking part is optional but it's a good opportunity to learn in a more practical way. The theme is local Wildlife. I have a project idea for the each of you, but you can come up with your own if you'd like,"

After announcing the project, Sirris continues her lesson plan and asks the class to turn to page 70 of their textbooks. Walking around the room handing out small cards. She then gets to Erin's desk and as she places a card on his desk, he picks it up and reads:

[Note Card: Lichen grows in many places around town. What impact does the local environment have on the species that thrive?" It continues onto some variables he could test, and ends with: "Remember to ask permission before entering private property!]

Going all the way around the room and handing out every card to every student, she finally arrives back in the front of the room.

"The fair will be held on a Saturday at Town Hall I hope you will be there even if you don't bring a project"

She tells and reminds them that the science fair is in 25 days at Town Hall on Cliff Street. Bringing this up alarms Erin and he makes a mental note to write this down in his journal later on.

However, after focusing for a solid 20 minutes since class started, once she went back to teaching he burned out and then started to daydream the entire class period way.
