The Silence in All Directions (1)

During the wartime, as the only one capable of facing the gods, Gilgamesh had to excel in different battles and triumph over disadvantageous situations where surely anyone else in his same condition would die. The dangers he faced in that stage of his past life were perilous. On the path in that war, they fought all kinds of battles, he and the humans who took up a sword without fear of dying on the battlefield.

From those times until now, there was a saying when Gilgamesh fought seriously: "The world may split in two, but the sun will always triumph over darkness." Everyone can both win and lose; Gilgamesh didn't understand the fear of a God over a world he didn't have total control over.

The Human God has no access to the world, which was more than confirmed because Gilgamesh had never encountered him. I mean, if that God wants to kill him, why would he hide in the first place?

No one knows of his existence; the things he can influence are small but significant. If for some reason all those things succeed, it's because the humans of this world don't have the heart to stand against them.

Later, regarding everything he had experienced in this world, it could be said that living a second time is not a bad option. Now he knew death, so he felt no curiosity, and there were so many things he wanted to do that a hundred years are few compared to everything he wants to discover.

What does it feel like to be a dad?

What is it like to have a family?

There were so many things to draw from experience that Gilgamesh was very excited, but with the recent events, he feels a bit mentally exhausted. He needed to find that Human God; he had to do it as soon as possible.

However, Gilgamesh knew that there was still some hope of finding the way to where this God of Humanity is, and he was sure he would find it sooner or later.

His group now consisted of two future wives and a human trapped in the body of a dog for hundreds of years. If this dog were strong, it would be of great use, but all it knows how to do is move like a die from side to side and sleep deeply.

"Are we almost there?"

"No, there's still a long way to go, and traveling on Killa is not the fastest speed we could have." Roxy and Eris were inside a large tent they had set up, thanks to which the light no longer hit them directly, and Gilgamesh took advantage of it to fall into a deep sleep.

It's true that a small house on Killa would be a good idea, something they would do knowing that they would be traveling here from now on. What Gilgamesh was looking for was to experience the journey more closely, which is why he chose a pet like Killa since he would take them all over the world at a speed that helps them appreciate the surroundings.

"Now you have the ability to communicate telepathically, isn't that wonderful?" Eris, who was combing Roxy's hair, smiled as she watched the ice outside the tent slowly melt.

"Yes, the stimulation of my bloodline activated with the stimulation of that ritual." Roxy smiled as she remembered everything that had happened so far.

Cunsfiel, seated on an ice throne after demanding Roxy to take better care of the super divine intelligent pet of the group, had suggested that she conjure large ice walls, and indeed everything became much cooler. Even Killa walked much faster while feeling his entire body cool.

"Do you think in your village they would adore me as a God? I can speak more than thirty languages, but now I only remember two..." Cunsfiel boasted his abilities while scratching his belly with his right paw.

Eris was surprised and asked with vigilant eyes, "More than thirty languages?"

"Of course, I know English, Spanish, Hindi..." Cunsfiel mentioned all the languages he remembered hearing about in his original world, but truth be told, he barely mastered a few words.

Roxy and Eris lost interest seeing Cunsfiel talk about things they had never heard in their lives before; they assumed it didn't exist and began to ignore him.

"I wonder if my lord will appoint me as a Count; he needs loyal servants so I can serve in his kingdom for about two hundred years."

"If you travel for ten years and sleep a hundred, I don't need a subordinate who sleeps so much..." Having said this, Gilgamesh burst into laughter. But after a while, behind his smile, there was a sense of strangeness.

"Should we eat something?" With this, Gilgamesh opened his Gate of Babylon and pulled out many exquisite dishes.

As he continued to bring out food, Cunsfiel had moved like lightning and sat naturally beside Gilgamesh, his tail moving unnoticed.

"Should we pray before eating?"

Everyone turned to Cunsfiel strangely; Eris and Roxy knew that Gilgamesh didn't believe in any religion, so this question was a bit awkward.

"I mean, thank nature for bringing us together; in this life, not everyone is fortunate enough to eat food like ours." While Cunsfiel said this, his paw had dragged a plate of steaks towards his side, and Gilgamesh, who saw this, smiled slightly. He liked this dog, and that's why he had let him travel with them.

"Alright, let's eat something before we arrive."

...

A few hours later, to the north of the demon continent.

"I'm already preparing and moving while thinking about what will happen in a hundred years. What has happened and what will happen, everything is strategic preparation. However, many things have happened in recent years, and right now, with Nanahoshi, things have become imperceptible."

Orsted, the current Dragon God, looked at the huge crater and frowned due to all the wreckage that being had caused in this place. First, he had traveled to the central sea to investigate what had happened; after that, he learned about the Mana explosion that was supposed to have occurred. However, everything started to change years ago.

"After so many regressions, maybe things have taken an unexpected turn... I must find the author of this destruction and figure out what happened here." Orsted thought as he walked in the same direction that Gilgamesh had departed with his group.
