DEFINITION OF FUCKED UP chapter 9: Tears and Happiness (The End)

Junior stands up and goes to his room with tears in eyes , Jane came from the room running after she heard something breaking in the living room. When get there she asked what happened instead of getting an answer she only got a slap in the face " If only you had a better son like others" Fred said

Junior's mother sat there and starts to cry, Junior was hearing everything that was just happened to his mother and he starts to remember everything happened since he dropped out of college and he realize that his mother was the only thing he has since the beginning, Now she is being abused because of him, He puts his hoddie on and slowly walks out of the room without anyone noticing, He went to the pharmacy nearby and bought a bunch of medicines and goes back home, He sat in the room glancing to the pills he just bought,He grabs a pen and paper starts to write a note and after he drinks all of the pills he bought.

Meanwhile, Aisha, Kisha, Alex and Jack were done hanging out and everyone goes home, Alex offered a ride to Aisha on their way they were having a conversation and they ended up finding something in common between them which made a strong chemistry between them from that night.

Aisha gets home and find her mother sitting on a couch looks like she was waiting for her, She noticed her and said" please mum not today, don't ruin my night "

"No, Actually I wanted to talk to you, I mean I want to apologize for everything I have told you what I have done to you I wasn't a mother you needed I treated you like an outsider when I had a chance to treat you like my own daughter," Aisha's mother

" Well I don't know what happened to you but whatever happened I like it ,So can I go to sleep now? Aisha asked her mother while walking into her room, Her mother took her hand and begged for forgiveness

Mother don't make me start right now, yeah as you said you made me feel worse, You made me feel unwanted, You made my life miserable don't expect me to forgive you just like that only because you are good at making scenes let me go I don't have time for this, good night. Aisha went to her room

On other hand Kisha get home and gives Jack a good night kiss and went into the house , Everything was normal everyone was sleeping she immediately went to sleep too.

The next day everyone wakes up and do the daily routine but Junior didn't appear on breakfast table with them, His mother thought that maybe he doesn't want to share a table with his father due to last night's fight so she let him be, Kisha and Fred goes to work as usual.

About mid-day Jane wasn't seeing her son around and she gets worried and went to look for him, She got in the room and unexpectedly she found Junior unconscious and not breathing at all, She screams louder, Calling the maid and asking them to call an ambulance, The ambulance eventually came and they rushed to the hospital, On their way Jane was calling Fred but he ignored a call she gave up on calling and she texted him.

"Hey stop ignoring my call, We are heading to the hospital now Junior is unconscious"

Fred read the text and quickly grabs the car keys and calls Jane back to ask for an address, They met at the hospital and quickly rush to find a doctor to help them.

They sat out of the room and waits to hear the results from the doctor, Doc finally came out of the room and gather them together

How long your son has been unconscious? Doc asked

I don't know I just found him like that when I went into his room

I am sorry to tell you this but your son gets here dead, He passed away 6 hours ago according to the exams we did on his body, your son committed suicide by having a lot of pills, my condolences. Doc said

Whose son are we talking about here? Fred asked

The one who was named Fred Junior Kamanzi. Doc responded

No! it can't be my son, please doctor I will pay for any amount just do your best please I am begging you

I understand your pain but I am sorry I can't help.

Jane was standing without speaking anything only tears were falling down to her cheeks, She couldn't speak or cry out loud she only walks into the room where junior's body was lying and only stares at him.

" Why, was it too much to bear son" She finally speaks up and asks Junior's body by standing in front of it.

Fred called his two friends to tell them what happened,They also came rushing to the hospital.

Kisha finished the job while Alex and Jack were waiting for both of them to come downstairs so they can take them home, Kisha and Aisha were walking towards them and her phone received a message which makes her scream" No it's impossible"

She quickly runs to Jack and shows him the message, They all quickly went in their cars and starts to drive to the hospital.

When they get there Kisha started to cry out loud after they showed her Junior's body, Her three friends came closer and try to cancolingher ,It was too difficult to accept that Junior is already dead, He was best friend of Kisha even though they are not at the same age, She lost a brother and best friend.

Jane was sitting alone silently only tearing up, She was recalling every single moment she had with him, Time passed by everyone went home in the end Jane and Fred only remain at the hospital.

"Now I have nothing to lose, I can do whatever I want, " Jane told Fred while walking out of the hospital.

She went home directly into her son's room, She was walking around recalling all the moments they had in that room, She sat on his bed crying, She grabbed his notebook where he used to compose a song and she started to read paper by paper and realize it wasn't just a songs book it was his daily too.

His mother's heart broke into peace whenever she read a single word, She now understand the burden junior was carrying by living with parents who always fight because of him and his father who always makes him feel unwanted, She continues to read and at least page of the notebook she notices something like a message she gets curious and read it.

" Dear mother, if you are reading this that means I am no longer alive, first of all, I am sorry but I no longer can't take it anymore, I hide it for too long but now I am tired, I am tired of this world mum, I am tired of not getting anywhere, I am tired of being a burden to everyone around the house, I am tired of crying and feeling lonely every time, Thank you for giving me a life but am sorry I can't bear the pain anymore you were the best thing that ever happened to me In my entire life I appreciate you for that, say goodbye to Kisha and tell her I am sorry too, tell everyone not to cry because where I am going I will be better than living to this world, Tell dad that I am sorry that I didn't become a son he wanted, Goodbye mom I love you very much"

Jane cried a lot but she didn't have anything to do about it anymore , Fred was at the hospital blaming himself for what happened to his son and regrets how he didn't even have any minute to talk to him in his entire life.

After a week they bullied him and they paid tribute and honors him as a young man. as they say "life goes on "and everyone is back again to their daily lives even if it was too hard for everyone especially those who were closest to him like Kisha and Jane.

After months Jane finally asked for a divorce and started her new life out of town, She opens her own company, Alex asked Aisha to be his girlfriend and they are now dating, Kisha finally spoke up about her daughter and her mother apologize to what she did in past to her and accept Joana as her grand daughter same goes to Jack's father who now becomes a diplomate. Aisha and her mother have now become closer than before, Margaret went to college to complete her dreams she sometimes talks to her siblings but it is still hard to forgive her mother.

After one year Kisha resigned from her uncle's company and asks Fred to let Aisha do the job she was doing because she was too good at it, Kisha went back to fashion and designing as her passion.

One day she was in her office doing some work, she received an email from her the college she went to in the UK which was inviting her to the " Gala" she was excited and she decided to attend, She contacted Jane and asks her to babysit baby Joana while she went abroad and Jane quickly accepted it since her only son was dead.

In weeks she attended the event with Jack, Aisha, and Alex, They were modeling as same they did back in the days when she was there and it makes her recall how it felt being on stage talking about fashion and doing it, Her old teacher called her to come on stage and tell them something.

" Good evening everyone, well it's been a long time without coming here but I now feel like it's my home and that I belong here, so I won't take much time I just want to tell every young person here that just don't give up when things don't work give it the time it will work eventually and please however life can make you miserable please don't choose suicide, thank you" Kisha's speech

She went back to her sit, Jack stoop up and asks for everyone's attention, he asks Kisha's hand and helps her to stand up, he went on one knee and said

" Kisha, this is where we met for the first time, I fell in love when I saw you walking on stage as a model I prayed in my heart that God make a way that I can even talk to you, you were too smart and funny which made me fall harder, we've been through a lot but you never doubt me so I made a wish to God and I want to make my wish come true tonight, Kisha I want to live with you forever even after this life I want to be your husband, WILL YOU MARRY ME," Jack's said

Kisha bend over and stand him up and hugs him tight while kissing him and she said" I want to have your little versions, I want to be by your side in this life and after this life, I want to be your wife for the rest of our life YES I WILL MARRY YOU"

Everyone Stands up and claps for them and congrats them, in 2 months they got married and went to live in their country for good.
