Runaway Ch.6 Pt.1

Dammit, it's 6:05 pm! Kaden whispers. Kaden runs to the bathroom to wash up. 6:45 pm and he is ready. He sprays on his Cranberry Cologne. Put on his favorite jean jacket and waited on the couch downstairs. 7:01 a horn is heard outside. Kaden runs out and hops in the car.

Tris: well, you look handsome

Kaden smiles, and Tris drives away with fall blowing through their hair. Tris arrives at a fancy but casual restaurant.

Kaden: nice!

They walk into a less crowded place

Tris: table for 2

Waitress: already right this way

They sit and look at the menu, order and eat, and have profound, casual, and Hilarious conversations.

Tris: Check!

Kaden: I got it

Tris: lies, I invited you out

Kaden: ok, you sure

Tris: yes, kay

They head back to the car, and Tris goes in for the kiss, and Kaden panics and kisses his cheek. They both get in the car. Drives the drive-up movie. Kaden pays, and they head in. The park is next to a Willow Tree. They talk about experience and life. This time Kaden goes in, and a kiss is complete. Kaden blushes, and they get in the car and drive away. Kaden spends the night thinking about his night. In his first kiss, he believes Tristen is not the one but not too far from it. No love yet, but maybe I will get their Kaden thoughts. He thinks he can trust him but is not too sure because of what Bryan said.

Weeks past and tris and kay are getting stronger. They go here, and they go there. They are in a trusting relationship. Max and Chris have stopped talking to Kaden. Bryan is very distant too. Kaden wonders if their relationship is strong enough.

They were having their makeup sessions when Karen asked

Kaden: do you think we could do the next step

Tris: ugh, the sex step? I don't know. I mean, my mom and dad are downstairs and don't know about me.

Kaden: I thought you were out

Tris pauses

Tris: ya I am, but they are not too happy about it

Kaden: They seem to like me. So umm. But no means no, so I won't force it

Tris: awe. Kaden, I mean, we can do other things, but I want to wait until marriage if that's ok with you.

Kaden: yes, and I umm err

Tris: Kaden, what's wrong

Kaden: umm, nothing

Tris: Kaden!? What is it

Kaden wonders if he can trust him. Yes, he can! He whispers. So Kaden tells him everything about his uncle and him.
